Maha is a minor antagonist of Wano Country Arc. He is a member of CP0.
He is voiced by Takuro Nakakuni in the Japanese version and by Chris Niosi in the English version. The latter also provided the voices of Shaiapouf from Hunter x Hunter and Savarin Canele from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.
Overview[]
Maha, Guernica and Joseph visited Shogun Kurozumi Orochi in Wa no Kuni to discuss business with him directly after the middleman Donquixote Doflamingo was captured. Orochi saw himself in a stable position and demanded Dr. Vegapunk personally, which the CP0 rejected outright as impossible. The shogun underlined his demand by shooting one of the agents in the head and referred to Kaido's protection. The agents then left the property.
On the day of the Fire Festival, the three agents were invited to the banquet on Onigashima and were on-site when the battle broke out between the 100 Beasts pirate gang and Monkey D. Luffy's alliance. With a member of the Marys on site, they always had an overview of how the battle was progressing, and they used a Go board to compare the balance of power between the two parties. Although they viewed Orochi's apparent death as annoying for their cause, they also saw the emperor's fight against the New Generation as inevitable. Their hope was that the pirates would eliminate each other. They also discussed Vegapunk's research on devil fruits. As the battle progressed, the tide turned increasingly in favor of the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai alliance, but the outcome didn't really matter to the CP0. Their main concern was that Who's-Who, a former member of Cipherpol No. 9 who was in battle with Jinbei, dies. A little later, Rob Lucci contacted the three agents. The World Government had sent a fleet that was already in front of Wa no Kuni. Rob Lucci passed on an order from above to the agents. They should grab Nico Robin. Maha and another agent then entered the fray for the first time. They were quickly able to locate Nico Robin and Brook and were not stopped by some Minks who wanted to give the two Straw Hats time to escape. They came between the fronts of X. Drake, whose true affiliation the CP0 was informed about, and Scratchmen Apoo, whereupon the two pirates joined forces against the agents. However, Apoo quickly fled and X. Drake and Zanki were defeated. When they were looking for Nico Robin again, they came across Izou. The CP0 agents suggested that everyone go their own way without a fight, but the former division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates wouldn't let them proceed. A fight ensued in which Izou and Maha eliminated each other. Maha remained motionless on the ground. His subsequent status is unclear, but his opponent Izou is known to have lost his life in this altercation.
Abilities and Powers[]
As a masked CP0 agent, Maha is one of the strongest agents of the World Government. He demonstrated mastery of the Shigan technique, but as a senior CP0 agent, it is assumed that he is capable of using all six forms of Rokushiki. In the fight against Izou, Maha was able to seriously injure him, but at the same time was also brought down by the opponent.
