Makoto, whose true identity is the Tarantes Worm Purpura, is a Worm who who assumed the identity of a boy who befriended of Arata Kagami and an antagonist in episodes 21 and 22 of Kamen Rider Kabuto.

Kamen Rider Kabuto[]
Tarantes Worm Purpura assumed the guise of a deceased boy named Makoto and pretended to save Arata Kagami from a group of Worms in an abandoned factory where the Worms had set up a nest. He later attempted to befriend Kagami in order to get him to prevent ZECT from storming the Worms' nest. During this time Kagami took him to see the view of Moonbow, which the original Makoto had always wanted to do. However, their friendship was broken up when his true identity and intentions were eventually revealed. Assuming his Worm form, Purpura attacked Kagami but was beaten by him after he became Gatack and fatally wounded by him with a Rider Kick. Later on though, Purpura sacrificed itself to protect Kagami from an explosion set off by Shadow to destroy all the Worm eggs, out of gratitude for it helping to fulfill the original Makoto's wish to see the view of Moonbow.
Kamen Rider Decade[]
Tarantes Worm Purpura was among several who were part of the Dai-Shocker forces stationed in the World of Black R.X. He was defeated by Kamen Rider Black.
