Malcolm is the main antagonist of the Grimm episode Skin Deep. He is a Musasat Alsh-Shabab who sucks out the youth of people and turns it into the form of Yanbue, which causes his victims to die from accelerated age.
He was portrayed by Jonathan Patrick Moore.
Biography[]
Malcolm is first seen when he approaches a young woman named Summer Blake at the mall and offers her his business card after he takes an interest in her. Summer agreed to come, and Malcolm took numerous pictures of her till she felt disoriented, and Malcolm allowed her to take a break. They started again but she became disoriented again and passed out on the couch. Malcolm woges and extracts her youth and places the Yanbue in a jar. Summer eventually left and died from the accelerated aging. He met with Eugene Forbes and gave him the jar of Yanbue and told him not to use it as its extremely powerful. Dr. Forbes wants to boost up business, but Malcolm wants to take it slow since he needs to get peoples youth to create it. Before he left Dr. Forbes told Malcolm to get more quickly but Malcolm says he needs time.
Malcolm later saw a commercial that Dr. Forbes created to sell his FOY cream (Fountain of Youth). Malcolm was enraged and called Dr. Forbes that they can't sell the cream like this because it's hard to get the stuff, Dr. Forbes offers help to Malcolm but Malcolm states that he can't get help and only he can know how to make it. Dr. Forbes offered to give half of the business's profits to him, and it could make Malcolm millions which Malcolm decided to continue getting the Yanbue. Malcolm finds another young person at the mall named Brian Grady and did the same thing he did with Summer by sucking out his youth when he was passed out.
Nick and Hank went to Malcolm's studio to question him about the deaths of the two victims to which Malcolm denies anything to do with their deaths as he tells them that he just took pictures of them and admired they're beauty. Nick and Hank eventually left, and Dr. Forbes called Malcolm to bring more of the cream. Malcolm later arrived at the clinic and sees that Dr. Forbes has ignored his warnings to use the Yanbue as his face is incredibly disfigured and sees Rosalee as his next patient. Monroe walks in and tells Dr. Forbes to get away from Rosalee while making the jar of Yanbue fall on the floor and shatter. Rosalee tells Nick and Hank that Malcolm is the Musasat Alsh-Shabab, Malcolm immediately woges and attacks Nick and Hank to which Monroe steps in as well as Rosalee as they all overpower him. Nick aims his gun at him and tells him not to move, but Dr. Forbes came from behind and stabs Malcolm in the neck with a scalpel, killing him. Dr. Forbes shortly after dies as his face becomes more disfigured and falls to the floor.
