Biography[]
“ | Sweetheart...do you know how lucky you are? Do you know what I've had to do for you? I had to pull every string I had to get you into this room. Because without it, you could get an infection and die. And I can't have that. | „ |
~ Ramsey to Ariel |
Ramsey was a conceited ER doctor with a God complex in Tuscon, Arizona, which made him a hated colleague on the job. Ramsey quit after he accidentally killed his wife and severely burned his daughter Ariel, who suffered severe autoimmune problems, in a car accident where Ramsey was behind the wheel. Ramsey believed he could restore Ariel's skin all by himself, so he solicited Falco as his accomplice and operated an abandoned hospital in Drexel Heights under Falco's birth name. Falco direly needed money because his job as a paramedic fell through, declaring bankruptcy in 2020. He was fired for stealing medical supplies, lost his apartment, and was living out of his own medical van. In spite of Falco being the one with the conscience out of the two, he agreed to snatch black sex workers and homeless women off the streets using his van, lying he was offering free care for them. Ramsey would hold the women captive and skin them slowly while they were still alive, hoping to make grafts for Ariel. Ariel was living in the warehouse and believed she was genuinely hospitalized, so she knew nothing about the crimes. Ever woman Ramsey and Falco held captive eventually died from the vivisection, so their remains were transported by Falco to a Dr. Ivan Escota, an organ trafficker who used his gang to buy decedents and hollow them of their body parts to sell illegally. Escota then tattooed scorpions on the women's remains and disfigured and dismembered them so badly he hoped they'd look like victims of cartels.
Ramsey and Falco killed Eve Roy, Blair Cameron, and Lizzie Blent in their usual fashions. But Falco gets spooked when the FBI arrests Ecosta and then raids Falco's apartment. He tries to convince Ramsey to stop, as he believes Ariel won't recover. Ramsey convinces Falco to maintain the operations by offering triple the price Escota paid. After they kidnap Mary Townes, Ramsey, having privately believed Falco to become a liability, as well as possibly furious from Falco challenging Ramsey's crimes, shot Falco dead, staged his murder as a suicide, and left him in his ambulance at a scrapyard. Ramsey's torture of Mary gets halted when Ariel leaves the room she stays in and sees what Ramsey's guilty of. The BAU arrive and try to get him to surrender, but Ariel, furious at Ramsey being a murderer, stabs him with one of his own surgical blades. Tyler Green then takes Ariel outside so she can die seeing the starry night.
Quotes[]
“ | Falco: You know, next time, how about I pick the roadkill, huh? Maybe get more than half the market rate. Ramsey: You'll get what you want. Falco: "I'll get what I want." When you asked me to join you on your little mission, you made it sound like it would be easy. As far as I can tell, I'm doing all the work. My rig, my contacts, my hands. Unless you think you can do it. |
