The Mamba Zombie is a supporting antagonist of The Scooby-Doo Show episode, "Mamba Wamba and the Voodoo Hoodoo". It is a persona adopted by a henchman hired by Roger and Lila, to aid in their scheme of stealing rights to their own band's song.
Biography[]
Roger and Lila hatched a scheme to scare and coerce the other members in their band, "Alex Super Experience", to sign over rights to a song. They hired a henchman and made him dress up as the Mamba Zombie, to create the image that Mamba Wamba (aka Roger in disguise) had zombie slaves.
The Mamba Zombie first appeared when Mystery Inc. together with the band "Alex Super Experience", tried to summon Mamba Wamba in the old plantation house. The Zombie interrupted Shaggy and Scooby while preparing for the summoning and made them destroy the musical instruments they were gonna use to summon Mamba Wamba. When Daphne and Alex were searching for clues in the basement of the house, both the Mamba Zombie and Mamba Wamba appeared, trapping them. Daphne tried to lure Mamba Wamba and he vanished, but the Mamba Zombie managed to kidnap Alex. The Mamba Zombie then chased after Shaggy and Scooby around the house but they managed to escape.
Later, Shaggy and Scooby goes outside and sees the Mamba Zombie, Zombie Lila and Mamba Wamba as well as the rest of the band members in Alex Super Experience tied up. Mamba Wamba forces them to sign a parchment to never play the voodoo chant song again. Shaggy and Scooby steal the parchment with Mamba Wamba and his gang chasing after them. After a long chase Shaggy and Scooby reunites with Fred, Daphne, Velma and the band again. They set up a plan to capture the Mamba gang and the plan succeeds. The Mamba Zombie is unmasked, revealed to be Roger's and Lila's hired henchman. He is then arrested together with his accomplices.
Trivia[]
- In Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy the Mamba Wamba case appears as a flashback. Not the whole case is shown but they show the unmasking of the Mamba Zombie.
- The Mamba Zombie's design is very similar to the Zombie from a previous mystery in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode, Which Witch is Which?. The only difference between them is the color scheme.
