Man Maid is a recurring supervillain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. He is a militant housemaid, who swears vengeance on Maxum Man for stiffing him after he cleaned the Maxum Mansion for him once. He first appeared in "Maxum Man Mark 2".
He was voiced by Ron Pardo, who also voiced Mayor Humdinger in Paw Patrol.
Biography[]
In "Maxum Man Mark 2", Eric was sick of cleaning the Maxum Mansion all by himself, so he searched the supercomputer to find Man Maid, who he heard was the former maid of Maxum Man, himself. However, Man Maid was fuming with rage and he refused to help Eric, after the way Maxum Man treated him last time. As Maxum Brain elaborated, Maxum Man made a huge mess all over the Maxum Mansion during his battle with Enzyme Ellis and he had Man Maid clean it all up. Man Maid worked tirelessly on cleaning everything and it was all for naught, as Maxum Man didn't leave a tip. Since then, Man Maid has sworn revenge on Maxum Man and had a bitter rivalry with him.
Later that same day, Man Maid broke through the ceilings of Sidekick Academy with his giant vacuum cleaner and swore to defeat Maxum Man then and there. However, all that was there at the time was a genetic clone of Maxum Man, which involved hamster DNA. Man Maid couldn't even tell the difference and went to war with the human-hamster-hybrid right in front of all the children.
First, Man Maid sprayed Maxum Hamster with a spray bottle. Then, Maxum Hamster fought back by chewing on Man Maid's ear. Man Maid then whipped out his double-ended, lighting-generated mop and jumped on Maxum Hamster but Maxum Hamster bucked him off and clawed his face apart. This battle raged on for a while until Man Maid clocked out Maxum Hamster with a vacuum cleaner. He then lept into his giant vacuum cleaner machine and drove toward Maxum Hamster to destroy him once and for all. Eric jumped in the way to stand up for Maxum Hamster, only to get run over without issue. This, however, gave Maxum Hamster enough time to regain consciousness, jump up, karate chop Man Maid, and then eat him, thereby defeating Man Maid and saving the day.
In "Squawk", Eric looked through a roster of villains to see which one he wanted to use as a holographic projection for Maxum Man to fight. When he saw Man Maid, he rejected him for having a "girl face".
In "Eric-o and Mandy-et", Man Maid was one of the villains who attended Mandy's coming-out party. He also joined the rest of the villains in an angry mob to separate Eric and Mandy. In the end, Man Maid ended up joining the rest of the villains in pummeling Eric.
In "OppoXOX", Man Maid was one of the villains who tried to rob the Splittsboro Bank, only to be promptly beaten to defeat by Master XOX.
