The Man with No Mouth is the main antagonist of Mr. Friend's 2024 stop motion-esque horror short film Timothy and The Man With No Mouth. He is a naked man-like figure, who appears helpful at first to a young boy named Timothy. However, the latter is unaware of its true intentions towards him.
Appearance[]
The entity is a human shaped man with no clothes and mouth (at first), and is naked. However, as the short came into climax, its mouth (presumably hidden all along) was later revealed, and was shown to be capable of fitting a human child's head into it. It is still debatable if that was a true human, or another entity which pretends to be a human.
Personality[]
At the beginning of the short, its personality is just... well, nothing out of sort, since it can't show any emotions at all. However, when Timothy was sleeping in the middle of the night, the entity seems to have a deep and dark secret feeling towards Timothy. The entity seems genius, as we see that he's helping Timothy up with his math problems, by a simple hand gesture in the middle of the short, and casually answering the last math problem that Timothy left it unanswered before he dies in the hand (or in this case, head) of this unknown entity.
Biography[]
In the middle of the night, a 10-year old kid named Timothy Green (referred by some viewers as simply Timmy) was trying to solve a math problem on his newly received computer, which he recently got on his birthday . However since he was terrible at solving math problems (even the simplest ones), he ends up not answering them, leaving him in heavily disappointed. That is until he suddenly heard a whistling sound outside of his room. Skeptical at first, he peeks outside of his home, where he at first sees nothing. But on his second peek, much to his surprise, he sees a thin-naked human-like figure entity standing on their front garden in the middle of the night, whistling. The entity caught its attention and creepingly sees Timmy, peeking at him from his room and waving back at him, which scares Timothy. As Timmy closes his curtains, he keeps questioning himself about the appearance of that mysterious entity, until he almost forgotten that he was sidetracked by the situation and he is still unable to solve his math problems yet, and he must finished it by tomorrow, leaving Timmy in a bit disappointment again.
It's almost 11pm, and Timmy, which still stuck at the same math problem, is almost drifting into sleep in front of his computer, when suddenly he heard a knocking sound near his room window. He returned to his consciousness upon hearing it, and even he is a bit frightened, he still managed to leave his seat and decided to look on who was knocking on his glass window. Upon opening his curtain, he sees "The Man with no Mouth" peeking at him. Timmy falls back in shock, but is surprised to see the man helping him with homework, as the gesture he gives on his hands (6, as the question is 5 divided by 30) manages to help Timothy answer his question. Despite wanting to come inside, Timothy tells the man to come back tomorrow to help him with homework. The man obliges, but as Timothy sleeps, he returns to stalk him.
The next night, Timothy is relived to see the Man with No Mouth had indeed returned. Without hesitance, Timothy lets the man inside (assuming he was struggling to answer the question.) As Timothy stares at his computer, he leans over to ask how the man can whistle without a mouth. Suddenly, the man starts morphing his face, and eventually reveals a massive sphere-like mouth that scares Timothy. Before Timothy can escape, the man leans his mouth on his head and snaps his neck, killing Timothy and allowing the man to consume his head. The man then leaves, not before answering Timothy's homework (the answer being 9).
