Biography[]
Background[]
It is unknown if the Mandibug Stack is a parent and its' child.
Super Mario Galaxy[]
The Mandibug Stack encounter Mario in Honey Hive Galaxy in the level Trouble on the Tower. They are encountered by Mario or Luigi at the end of the level, after the player arrives during a Mandibug invasion on the Honeybees. The Mandibug Stack is found at the top of a wooden structure. After Mario ground-pounds the smaller mandibug, it is defeated. This enrages the larger one, where it becomes red and much faster. It attacks by trying to catch the player in its pincers. After the player ground-pounds on the now-exposed larger one, it is also defeated, and reveals a Power Star.
Super Mario Galaxy 2[]
In the game's sequel, another Mandibug Stack appears in Puzzle Plank Galaxy. In the level The Puzzling Picture Book, a wooden puzzle-block ends up revealing an image of a large Mandibug. Once the image is clocked, a Mandibug Stack arrives and charges with the same attacks. Once killed, it reveals a Power Star again.
