Amanda ''Mandy'' Luxe is a major antagonist in the French animated series Totally Spies!.
She is a snobby teenage girl who often belittles the series' lead trio Sam, Clover, and Alex, thinking that they're less worthy than she herself is. Amongst the trio themselves, however, she is Clover's most frequent and personal rival due to their shared interests in shopping, fashion, social status, and relationships with boys. She is also best friends with Dominique and Caitlin.
She was voiced by Jennifer Hale (in Seasons 1-6) who also voiced Sam Simpson in the same franchise, Princess Morbucks and Sedusa in The Powerpuff Girls, Rojo in Ben 10, Shannon Lucas in Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness, Kronika in Mortal Kombat 11, Black Knight in Generator Rex, and Alecto in God of War: Ascension, and is currently voiced by Sarah Naughton in Season 7.
Appearance[]
She has long black hair, violet eyes, a beauty mark under her left eye, and fair skin. Her primary outfit is a red dress under a white long sleeve button shirt and white boots. Her primary outfit is been slightly altered like Clover's primary outfit. She also wears purple lipstick. Mandy sometimes has her hair tied in a high ponytail with a light blue scrunchie.
In "Silicon Valley Girls" and "Mandy Doll Mania!", she was seen wearing a pink dress under a light pink short sleeve button shirt and a matching pink heels.
Her formal dress; as seen in "Matchmaker", "Attack of the 50 Foot Mandy", "Danger TV", and "So Totally Versailles!"; is a long sleeveless purple dress. Mandy wears a lot of purple on the show, which is presumably her favorite color. However, in "Attack of the 50 Foot Mandy", after being turned into a giant, her clothes are torn apart and she is barefoot.
In "Evil Professor", she wears a dark magenta denim jacket under a light pink tank top, red skirt and black boots. This outfit however has minor changes in Season 6; in "Clowning Around!" her red skirt changes to pink, while in "Astro-Not", her jacket is replaced with a different shaded purple jersey jacket and her tank top is white.
In "Evil Coffee Shop Much", she wears a purple WHOOP catsuit when temporarily being a WHOOP agent.
In Season 6's two part finale of "So Totally Versailles!", Mandy wears a light purple/violet and white long-sleeved dress as her hair is transformed into a classic styled look and her black wig is extended into Marie Antoinette styled ringlets.
Personality[]
Being a model of the "popular teenager" stereotype (in her own opinion), she is shown to be stylish, charismatic, popular and pretty, in a rather negative perspecitve, she is also bratty, overly dramatic, materialistic, snobbish, egocentric, greedy, arrogant, cruel, naughty, abusive, and downright maleficent, what she lacks in talent and potential, she has made up for with her status and appearance.
However, Mandy does actually have a nicer side to her personality, but whenever she becomes nice to people, it barely or never lasts long and she goes back to being mean and selfish if she is provoked or insulted in one way or another, especially when it comes to boys.
Villainous Acts[]
Apart from being a high school rival, the following below lists instances where Mandy has committed actual offenses/crimes.
- Silicon Valley Girls - Mandy abused her power as student judge and punished Sam, Clover, and Alex for minor wardrobe infractions. At the end of the episode, Mandy is stripped of her title and given trash pickup duty.
- Malled - Mandy discreetly put an unpaid bottle of perfume in Clover's bag, framing her for shoplifting. As a thank you for a job well done on the episode's mission, Jerry hacks into the security office's computer, thus revealing Mandy's treachery.
- Halloween - Mandy used a spell book which created a portal, allowing a demon into the world who began turning the residents of a gated community into ghouls.
- The most notably well-known instance of Mandy's villainous/antagonistic role is in Futureshock!, where in the year 2025, she became a local newscaster and used hypnotic signals to brainwash the masses into acting like her, has taken over Beverly Hills and named it Mandy Hills, alongside her (failed) kidnapping and detainment of the 2025 spies, she was eventually defeated and arrested by the spies of years 2005, alongside their 2025 counterparts.
- Attack of the 50 Ft. Mandy - Mandy is affected by Diminutive Small's maximizer microchip meant for Clover by mistake and grows to gigantic height. She started wreaked havoc around Beverly Hills and it made her destroy buildings, damaging others' property and then kidnapping the various contestants who entered the Beauty Pageant.
- Totally Busted - Mandy, Dominique and Caitlin are affected by SUDS, a chemical that turned them into spy-sassins, who kill those with the spy gene and are given enhanced abilities. Teaming up with the creator of SUDS, the Inventor, Mandy attempted to spread SUDS all over the world. While almost successful, Mandy and her friends are turned back to normal.
- Evil Coffee Shop Much? - Showed off her WOOHP agent outfit in front of everyone at the cafeteria, thereby breaking WOOHP's rule about keeping spy identities a secret to the public.

Trivia[]
- Mandy is the only character to have her height revealed on the show. In "Attack of the 50 Foot Mandy", Clover says that Mandy is 5 foot 8 inch in 4 inch heels, making her actual height 5 foot 4 inch. She is slightly shorter than Clover, who is around 5 foot 5 inch - 5 foot 6 inch.
- She is much like Mitzi from the Winx Club franchise.
- Both their names starting with an "M", as well as having long black hair.
- Both being "mean girls" as well as rivals towards the main characters (mainly/mostly Clover for Mandy's case; mainly Bloom and Stella for Mitzi's case),
- Both girls being wealthy. (Implied in Mitzi's case)
- Both being popular girls at their respective schools. (Bloom's old school for Mitzi's case)
- Both having similar personalities; both being spoiled, arrogant, self-centered, snobbish, as well as cruel.
- Both also having relatives whose name also start with "M" (Mindy, Mandy's cousin; Macy, Mitzi's younger sister)
- She is much like Princess Morbucks from The Powerpuff Girls franchise.
- Both being "mean girls" as well as rivals towards the main trio (Sam, Alex and Clover for Mandy's case; Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup for 's case),
- Both girls being wealthy.
- Both having similar personalities; both being spoiled, bratty, arrogant, self-centered, snobbish, materialistic, as well as cruel.
- Both even share the exact same high-pitched voice, which is co-incidentally provided by Jennifer Hale.
- Mandy has never been a love interest/lust object for a major villain despite her self-proclaimed attractiveness, except in "Ski Trip" when she is accidentally captured by Gelee, who mistakes her for Clover due to Mandy's red ski suit (which Clover said was identical to her catsuit), and in the episode "Halloween" when she was also made the Evil Ghost's queen after she inadvertently caused a zombie plague on Halloween night in the Vista Verde Estates gated community. She is also made Auguste's queen after he notices her, after revealing he plans to rule France and the whole world.
- Her father is never mentioned nor shown.
- In "Trent Goes Wild", we learn Mandy is allergic to shellfish.
- In "Halloween", she freed an evil ghost who made her his queen as the reward. Whether this means she is actually a witch or anyone could release him with the spell is not known.
- In "Halloween", when she faints, she stays asleep for most of the episode.
- In "Ski Trip", she is forced to learn how to play chess because of Gelee, during which, she remarks that Gelee isn't even that good at the game.
- Dominique and Caitlin seem to be her closest, or either, her only friends, because whenever Mandy's not with either one or both of them, she doesn't seem to hang out with anyone else. In fact, Dominique and Caitlin seem closer to each other than they do to Mandy.
- Outside of WOOHP, not including the villains, and of all the Beverly Hills students, Mandy witnesses the spies the most as being ones whenever they are in a mission, even if her memories of them get wiped out frequently after that. This is especially best exhibited in "Evil Coffee Shop Much?", where she was recruited, and later voluntarily asked for her memory to be wiped out after that experience.
- In the b-story of "Black Widows", it's shown that Mandy has stage fright when she walks into the Beverly Hills High auditorium and sees how many people are there for the annual spelling bee. It also reveals Mandy relies on her family's money in order to gain what she wants.
- Mandy has a fan club at school called MIG (Mandy Is Great), in which she is the QB (Queen Bee). When Clover joins, not knowing it was Mandy's fan club, she makes Clover massage her feet. ("W.O.W.")
- In "The Dream Teens", it is revealed she was on the yearbook committee, but did not have the final say on how the picture was laid out for Most Photogenic. She has also worked on a student paper like her mother had when she went to Beverly High. When she formed her own spy club, she took embarrassing photos of Clover and Alex.
- In "Totally Busted", she has a ski chalet whose front is shaped like the letter M.
- In "Stuck in the Middle Ages with You", she wins first place in the Beverly Hills High Halloween party costume contest as a witch.
- In "I Want My Mummy", she is disqualified from the Beverly Hills High Most Charitable Teen contest after it turned out that her ruby ring was actually a fake ruby.
