You could come with me to The Evil Henchman Vocational School and we could do fun evil things together!
~ Mandy Struction

Amanda "Mandy" Struction is a recurring villain from the YTV animated series, Sidekick. She is the teenage daughter of The Struction Family, who run the Splittsboro Crime syndicate, "The Master Structions". She attends Master XOX's Evil Henchman Vocational Academy on The Evil Side of Town. She is the love interest-turn-girlfriend of Eric Needles, who has introduced her to the good side of the world. Mandy's main superpower is her custom-made Seismo-Shoes, which she uses to cause earthquakes just by stomping.

She is voiced by Stacey DePass.

Biography[]

Mandy Struction first appeared in "Match Dot Com", where Eric found her on the dating website, Match Dot Com, and asked her out to the Violentine's Day dance at Sidekick Academy. The two met up and quickly hit it off quite well. At the dance, Eric's friends all embarrassed him in their own various ways. Kitty was jealous of Mandy for dating Eric and tried to blast her with a laser gun, Trevor was suspicious of her being a robot and poured water on her, and Vana just insulted her, believing that a girl that pretty would never go out with a guy like Eric.

Mandy heard from Eric that Professor Pamplemoose keeps records of all the students' strengths and weaknesses in his desk in room 218 and got straight to plotting a way of stealing the files. Before she got down to business, she first decided to have some fun with Eric. Together, they poured baby sharks into the punch bowl, lazered pictures of each other into the walls, and blew up a bunch of decorations with death rays. Meanwhile, Trevor, Kitty, and Vana spied on her from afar, seeing her as being awfully suspicious.

After hanging out for a while, Mandy told Eric that she needed to go call her mom and check in with her and she took off. Trevor, Kitty, and Vana approached him and told him how they were suspicious of her but Eric refused to believe there was anything wrong with her and just assumed that they hated her because they were jealous of how cool she was and how she was going out with a dork like him. However, their fears would later be confirmed, when Maxum Brain called Eric to tell him that Mandy Struction came from the supervillain database. Kitty and Vana explained to Eric that Mandy Struction lives on the evil side of town and that her family ran an evil crime syndicate in Splittsboro but Eric was still in denial about this. Just then, a burglar alarm went off, alerting everyone that Sidekick Academy was being robbed. Eric finally gave in and admitted that Mandy was evil but still thought that they could work through it.

The sidekicks chased Mandy down to the classroom, where they caught her in the act of stealing their permanent records. Mandy was out of excuses and admitted to Eric that she was, in fact, stealing. She then used her seismo-shoes to stomp a huge eartquake gap in their way and she ran off. Eric knew that because he and Mandy shared a lot of things in common, that he knew her weakness.

Mandy stood on the roof of Sidekick Academy and waited for her mom to come over and pick her up. Eric ran up there and begged to hear the truth from her, wanting to know if she really did love him for who he was or if he was just a pawn in her evil game. Mandy confessed to Eric that she actually did love him because they had so much in common and that he made her feel things that she never felt before and that her greatest regret about this villainous ploy was how she betrayed him. Eric told Mandy that he would forgive her easily if she chose to give up her villainy and convert to the good side, attend Sidekick Academy, and hang out with them. Mandy refused and offered Eric the opportunity to convert to the dark side, attend Henchman Academy, and do fun evil things with her and her friends. Eric had to decline this offer too, since he was Maxum Man's sidekick and couldn't just abandon his post.

With that, Eric and Mandy had to sadly get into a showdown against each other. Eric summoned Kitty, who was wearing a teddy bear mascot costume, assuming it would strike Mandy with fear, as mascots were his greatest fear. However, this had no such effect on her, as unlike Eric, Mandy didn't fear mascots. Instead, she was afraid of mimes. Eric ended up getting scared of Kitty's mascot costume, himself and in fear, he picked up Mandy and threw her at Kitty, knocking Kitty over and allowed for Mandy to make an alternative escape, albeit without the stolen records, which she dropped upon impact.

Despite all of the horrible things that Mandy did to try and ruin Sidekick Academy, Eric was still very smitten with her and was mostly just happy about the wonderful Violentine's Day he had with such an awesome gal.

Mandy returned in "Henchman for a Day", where Eric was sent to XOX's Henchman Academy for a student exchange. Eric was getting attacked by XOX's Henchmen until Mandy came in and threatened to put her foot down, unless they left Eric alone. Eric was so happy to see Mandy again, still just as in love with her as he was before. Mandy was happy to see Eric again but warned him to watch his step around here because the other kids can be extremely cruel.

Eric and Mandy went with the rest of the evil henchmen to gym class, where XOX taught them about how to fight good guys, by having them test out their fighting powers on a test dummy of Generic Superhero. The henchmen were completely incompetent at defeating Generic Superhero, since they kept going one at a time, allowing the robot to take them out one-by-one. Eric proposed the idea that instead of going one-by-one, they should just swarm Generic Superhero all together. Mandy agreed with this so she and Eric beat him up together and succeeded. XOX was amazed at just how much better this worked out.

XOX was so impressed by Eric's greatness when it came to villainy and tried to recruit him to the "not bright side". Eric had reservations about this because he didn't wanna betray him friends at Sidekick Academy. Eric had a heart-to-heart with Mandy about this and Mandy told Eric that if they were his true friends, they would support him in pursuing his true calling in life. Mandy also helped Eric to realize he sucked at being a sidekick and had nothing but bad memories there. This convinced Eric to become a villain and joined forces with Mandy and XOX.

Mandy broke into Sidekick Academy with Eric and the other henchmen, where they wreaked havoc and destroyed everything. Eric was rude to his old friends, calling them a bunch of losers that he couldn't stand, who stink. Mandy was about to use her Seismo-Shoes to stomp and create a huge earthquake before Professor Pamplemoose blew his whistle, announcing the end to the exchange program. As such, all the henchman quit in the middle of the warfare and went home. As did Mandy, who told Eric to call her sometime. Trevor, Kitty, and Vana were fuming with rage at Eric for what he did and they all pummeled him.

Mandy appeared again in "Eric-o and Mandy-et", where she went on a date with Eric at Crudburger. During the date, Mandy would trick Eric by making him brain freeze and then laugh as she burned him with some spicy food. She was also planning on poking him with a stick but he caught onto that. Overall, the two of them had a wonderful time together.

After their date, Mandy went back home to her house, where her mother, Cindy Struction, was waiting for her and was livid with the fact that her daughter was going out with a good guy. Cindy told Mandy that she forbids him to ever see Eric again and forced her to make a video call to him, breaking up with him. Meanwhile, Maxum-Brain made Eric do the same with her, not wanting Eric to go out with an evil girl. During their breakup call, Mandy secretly sent a message to Eric, saying that she'd be having a villainous coming out party at her house on Friday at 8:00, which gave Eric the go ahead to see her there.

At Mandy's villainous coming out party, she hated her time there, not liking the life her mom was forcing her to lead. However, she was very happy to see Cindy give her a destructo-ray as her present. Mandy opened fire upon the other villains of her party and caused all sorts of mayhem and destruction. Eric showed up at the party and fled the scene with Mandy.

Mandy and Eric ran through the evil side of town, having all sorts of fun together. Eventually, the good guys and the bad guys alike, caught up with them and got into a huge fight with each other, keeping Eric and Mandy separate. Cindy used her own Seismo-Shoes to create an earthquake crack in between the good side and the evil side of Splittsboro. Eric and Mandy lept the crack and fell into each other's arms, making them fall straight down into the gorge, where they ended up in XOX's secret lair.

In XOX's secret lair, Eric and Mandy used a freeze ray on themselves, to make it look as though they had been frozen. When the good guys and bad guys came in, they thought they had died and they all cried over how horribly they had treated one another, realizing that good guys and bad guys actually can get along after all. Eric and Mandy then revealed that this was all a trick, which immediately changed everyone's perspectives on them and got them all mad at them again. Mandy threw Eric under the bus, saying this was all his idea, which meant that Eric was the only one getting attempted assault by the good guys and bad guys. Mandy also had her share of abuse, taking out the poking stick from before and using it to prod Eric, having tons of fun, while she did it.
