Mangiafuoco is described as someone cruel and greedy, with a short temper who wouldn't think twice before wanting to hurt someone to get what he wants, However, when he feels sorry for Pinocchio when he finds out that he had a father who sold his clothes so he could go to school, Mangiafuoco becomes a good person.
Physical Appearance[]
In the tale the Mangiafuoco is described as a man who is larger than a normal human being, he has long black hair and a beard of the same color that goes down to his feet, he wears black clothes and a black top hat with a feather.
