The Mangler is the main antagonist of the Haunting Hour episode “Near Mint Condition”.
It is a robotic stuff-bear who was is the mascot of “Robobear”.

The Mangler was made for a 1980: animated show named “Robobear” which was in the future where a world of evil robots have taken over humanity last hope is this heroic band of cyber-beats to protect them from the cold heartless machines that enslaved them.
In season 2, they were introduced “Mangler” who was claiming to be fighting for good but fights only for the machines. He was an instant- fan favorite, which would spawned a huge line of toys.
However, for some reason they started murdering children. They never link the box directly to the Mangler but parents boycotted the Mangler bears due to a public pressure, as they recalled the Mangler. A couple of years ago, a few servers on the Collectors Market. There were only seven that were left in circulation.
Near Mint Condition[]
Ted became obsessed with buying collectable toys online, and spends five thousand dollars (which he was supposed to use to buy a car) on a rare Robo-Bear toy from the 80's named Mangler with a mysterious link to accidents and deaths that occurred to the children that received the toys.
He told both Mark and Jason to leave his room telling them that he’s willing to do anything to have Mangler in mint condition, as he left eye grows red. Later, during night as he goes into the kitchen, Mark and Jason prank Ted which upsets the latter as he puts Mangler back to his cell.
During midnight while Ted was asleep, Mangler comes alive over and goes after Jason’s house, in which sneaks up in his room in an attempt to torture him for beusing him to mock Ted, where he left scratches. In the morning, he was sent to an ambulance.
Mark figures out the link via a blue fuzz ball that Jason dropped and urges Ted to get rid of Mangler. Although Ted refused at first, he accepts Mark suggestion of asking why the previous owner sold him. The seller's brother owned it, but he died from an animal attack. However, the seller refused to tell info as she goes back inside her home. Ted then checks on his toy to see if he is alive, in which Mark asks why he hadn’t destroyed it yet, the latter tells his brother that he can’t sleep without the toy being separated.
Ted still refuses to destroy the toy, however he does leave Mangler at the garage. During the night, he comes alive again in which he goes after Mark inside his room as she sneaks behind him while the latter wakes up breathing and becomes suspicious.
Mark screamed as Ted overheard while entering his room, accusing him at first thinking he did it on purpose. However, Mangler starts to reveal himself alive to Ted minutes afterwards, with the later finally realizing that Mark was right. The duo enter in the kitchen in an attempt to stop it, as he hides in a box before entering the garbage.
During the night, Mangler sneaked out of the garage and then entered. He then roared as he tried to kill Mark which wakes up Ted. Just when, Mangler reveals himself which finally convinces Ted that he was right. Ted and Mark chase it through the house and Ted cuts his head off with a katana, sealing him in a shipping and selling him online to recoup his losses.
