Manny the Butcher is a minor antagonist of the 2020 buddy cop action comedy film Bad Boys for Life and its 2024 sequel Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
He is the owner of his own butcher shop who has connections to various criminals and organizations.
He is portrayed by rapper DJ Khaled in his first villainous role.
Biography[]
Bad Boys for Life[]
Mike Lowrey was following up on leads to locate the shooter of his assassination attempt and the possible shooter involved in various officials' assassinations. He turns to Manny in order to locate the gunman. As Mike walks into Manny's kitchen, Manny tries to offer him a job working for him. Mike showing more then refusal to his offering pins him down to his table and handcuffs him to it. Manny screaming in pain while Mike demands him to give him the information of the weapons dealer who sells the bullets of all crime scenes. But as Manny refuses Mike breaks his hand with a meat pounder until he revealed the name of Booker Grassie. With this information, Mike leaves the kitchen and leaves Manny handcuffed in pain after his intense assault.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die[]
Four years later, as corruption grows in law enforcements in Miami, James McGrath's attempted assassination of Armando Aretas, the framing of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, both criminal and police begin looking for the three, McGrath places a bounty of 5 million dollar on anyone or any gang that brings them to him, Manny being one of them. Remembering what Mike did to him in his shop he attempts to seek revenge for it. After going to Sugar Rush, a strip club in Miami, Mike, Marcus, and Armando are ambushed by Mike's old friend Tabitha and a unnamed gang leader, Manny and his gang counter ambush the gang leader. Mike noticing the sound of his voice as he rants about he’s a big gangster and how he never forgot about Mike's assault. As Lowrey, Burnett, Aretas try to flee the scene, the area erupts in gunfire and Marcus rams the van the trio escapes in into Manny. With Manny pinned between the van and another car, an unknown gangster throws a Molotov on top of Manny where he burns to death and falls to the ground as Marcus shifts into reverse.

- Manny is the only antagonist of the franchise without a redeeming quality (like Armando Aretas) to return alive in a sequel.
