Manur is a minor antagonist from Disciples: Sacred Lands, The Ancient Ruin scenario. He was a mercenary spearman who later became the leader of his own small band and along with two other groups, they robbed or killed adventurers.

Biography[]

Manur was a mercenary who fought with spears, but it is unknown if he had a previous employer or if he was hired for any purpose. He founded a small gang of other mercenaries and formed an alliance with two other criminals, Adamo and Marin, to rob or kill adventurers in their path and then take all valuables from their corpses. The three gangs were initially successful, the adventurers were no chance against them, but the increasing number of missing adventurers caused too much of a stir, so a pegasus knight of the Human Empire, Weroc, came to the area to find out what happened. The army of knights first fought Adamo and his gang in a wooded area, where they killed all the criminals, and then finished off Marin's gang as well. Not far away, they found a large, dry tree and a rock, in front of which lay bones and old objects, over which the crows were circling, meaning that some of the remains had been there not so long ago. Weroc thought he had found the evidence to prove that the missing adventurers had all been killed by the criminals, and then headed south to destroy Manur's gang as well, who were waiting for their enemies near a forest, in front of a large rune stone. He and the mercenaries, on the other hand, were more difficult opponents than the previous two gangs, since they were already stronger and tougher than the traitors or previous criminals, but in the end, Weroc killed Manur and the mercenaries were killed by the knights, thus killing the last stronger criminal in the area, so the adventurers were no longer threatened by similar individuals.
