Oh no! Is Zelda...inside the monster?! Link, we gotta save her, goro!
~ Yunobo and Link preparing to fight Marbled Gohma.
The culprit behind marbled rock roast, who produced it and brought it to the Eldin region. It uses its rock-covered legs to execute devastating attacks. The eyeball on its head may look vulnerable, but good luck reaching it atop this creature's massive body.
~ Marbled Gohma's Hyrule Compendium entry.

Marbled Gohma is a major antagonist in the 2023 action-adventure video game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

It is a Gohma composed of Marbled Rocks that acts as the Guardian of the Fire Temple and is responsible for corrupting the sirloin rocks that the Gorons regularly eat, causing them to be brainwashed and crave more at the cost of their mining work and business.

Biography[]

When the Upheaval began, Death Mountain was sprouting Gloom from its top and the sirloin rocks in the mines were poisoned by it, which results in these rocks being turned into Gloom Rocks. Yunobo, who founded the company called the YunoboCo, discovered these rocks while working one day, unaware that they are contaminated by the Marbled Gohma and began to sell them to the Gorons as Marbled Rock Roasts, which was a huge success, but it resulted in the Gorons that eat the Marbled Rock Roasts becoming corrupted, which in turn, resulted in them neglecting their work, which was hurting their local businesses. Only Bludo was suspicious of these rocks and refuses to eat them and is frustrated when the Gorons don't listen to his warnings.

It wasn't long before Yunobo took on a viciously rude personality shift as a result of the Zelda imposter granting him a mask that resulted in him being brainwashed. It only took Link and two Goron children to help him break the mask and snap him out of the trance, resulting in him returning to his original self.

Once learning of the events, Yunobo and Link climb up Death Mountain to pursue "Zelda" and after defeating Moragia, they dive into the superheated crater leading into the Depths of the earth to find out the identity of the mysterious voice that was calling to him leading the two of them into the Fire Temple. After Link and Yunobo undo all of the locks in order to save the trapped "princess", the Marbled Gohma appears, leading Yunobo to realize that it was the cause of all of Goron City's problems and they engage in battle. Despite putting up a fight against the duo, Marbled Gohma is defeated, allowing Yunobo to awaken as the Sage of Fire. This results in the Gloom Rocks and Marbled Rock Roasts all ceasing to exist and the Gorons returning to normal and getting back to work.

Marbled Gohma is later summoned by Ganondorf along with Colgera, Mucktorok, Queen Gibdo and the Seized Construct in Gloom's Lair. By Ganondorf's ultimate defeat, Marbled Gohma and the rest of the monsters were also killed for good.
