~ Marcel revealing his true nature.

Marcel is a minor antagonist of Book Two - Cracked Reflection of Infinity Train, being the main antagonist of the episode, The Map Car.

He was voiced by Wayne Knight, who also played Al McWhiggin in Toy Story 2, Newman from Seinfeld, Emperor Zurg from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Krudsky from Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King, The Penguin in Harley Quinn, Baron Von Sheldgoose from The Legend of the Three Caballeros, and Dennis Nedry from Jurassic Park.

Appearance[]

Marcel is one of those blowing Anemoi heads that are found on old world maps. He is beige with slightly curly long hair, four little wings, and clouds.

Biography[]

Marcel first appears bringing Jesse Cosay up to him and giving him the first piece of a map. He explains that Jesse has to gather up the pieces of the map to expand the car and exit. Marcel said he liked his performance but MT desperately wanted Jesse to get his number down. She couldn't touch the map without getting electrocuted but Alan Dracula chewed on it and was fine due to having all the superpowers of the world. Marcel said the piece fine, reminding him about the first piece. MT was confused that one piece from the mermaids only made more ocean, Marcel said they were close and now they get to ride on a compass with him blowing. When Jesse's number goes down a little, MT wanted to leave, but Marcel ignored her. When she saw the mermaids, she realized that Marcel was actually trying to trap them in the car forever. It was there that Marcel got mad and started blowing ferociously causing the sailboat compass to break, yet he doesn't care. MT is a loss of what do to, but Jesse realized that he can finish the map himself by drawing the exit door on a receipt. Marcel blew the receipt away, so Jesse drew a sea serpent on the map to have it attack Marcel, his wind did nothing. When Jesse finished the map, it was then revealed what Marcel was so worried about: doing so not only created a way out, but also made the whole car real (though it looked like a painting), including the serpent. While it leaves, Marcel horrifyingly realizes he's wind and turns into harmless air. MT and Jesse admire the now colorful car, but they were out of the frying pan and into the fire. That was because while completing the map got rid of Marcel, it also made the ocean reflective, summoning Special Agent Mace and Agent Sieve.

Trivia[]

  • Marcel is carved on the proscenium arch of the theater in "The Musical Car".
  • In "The Hey Ho Whoa Car", Amelia stated that cars can reset. Therefore, it's likely that Marcel could come back to life.
