Marcel Janvier also known as the Chameleon was a villain that appeared in the TV show NCIS: Los Angeles. He is the mortal enemy of NCIS agent G. Callen.
He was portrayed by Christopher Lambert.
History[]
Janvier was taken to an exchange, where he was horrified to see Vaziri who was told by Callen of his faked death and the latter told him this was checkmate and Janvier was taken away.
It is later revealed that Vaziri had Janvier's hand cut off as punishment. Janvier revealed that he still recalled the gruesome pain just like he feels the bullet Callen shot him with.
Callen and Granger find the house where Janvier was and discovered a blood bath, as the woman (that he had a picture of) and two of Vaziri's men were found dead. They went upstairs and found Vaziri with both his hands cut off along with the bloody tools. It became clear to the agents that Janvier lured Vaziri into a trap by using the woman as bait and his main goal was getting revenge on Vaziri for cutting off his hand. The two soon discovered Vaziri was barely alive and he directs them to the balcony that Janvier used to escape, upon investigating a civilian who spotted Janvier jumping, tells them that Janvier hopped into a car and Callen goes after him. Janvier tries to make his escape and in the process attempts to kill Callen by running him down, only for the latter to shoot him repeatedly. Wounded, Janvier pleads to Callen to finish him off, as they both wanted it. However, Callen refused to stoop to his level and arrested him.
Four months later, he recovered from his injuries and was placed in a maximum secured prison to serve three life sentences. He was visited by a smug Callen who told him that he had to see this sight for himself. Callen also remarked on how he would be confined to cell, since it was a lockdown. Even still, Janvier remained defiant and swore he'd find a way to get out and achieve revenge on Callen who responded by slamming the cell door on him.
