Stop hand

Marcus Proculus is the secondary antagonist of the 2014 commercial critical failed 3D historical action drama film Pompeii. He was the right hand man of the film's main villain; Senator Quintas Corvus who was bent on helping his lord in his plans.

He was portrayed by actor Sasha Roiz.

History

He is the right-hand man of the Senator Quintas Corvus, a highly corrupt and ruthless senator in the employ of the Roman emperor Titus. He first appears next to his master and on his orders, he execute all Celts survivors of the village (which, a young boy named Milo survives).

Many years later, he accompagnies his master Corvus in Pompeii.

Later, he watches alongside Corvus, Cassia, Severus (the ruler of Pompeii and Cassia's father) and Aurelia (the wife of Severus and Cassia's mother) the battle between Milo, now a gladitor, and Atticus (the best gladitor of Pompeii's arena and Milo's friend) and mans equiped as Romans. After Milo and Atticus win the battle, Proculus stops a spear that Milo has hurling at Corvus. Corvus then sent him to fight Milo one-on-one. Proculus overpowers Milo but before he can kill him, the Mount Vesuvius errupts, creating massive tremors that causes the arena to collapse, sending both Milo and Proculus crashing to the jail levels. Then, they going in a brutal fistfight which Proculus gained the upper hand but is forced to escape when Milo opens up the gates to allow his fellow gladiators a chance to attack; killing the guardian Bellator in the process.

At the end of the film, while Milo pursues Corvus, Proculus fights the best friend of Milo, a gladitor named Atticus, and manages to mortally wound him, but he manages to break Proculus's blade. Proculus then pleads for his life but Atticus kills him by piercing him in the neck with the broken blade. Alongside Atticus, Proculus's body was later incinerated by a pyroclastic surge of the Mount Vesuvius.
