Marge Malone is the overarching antagonist of the 2024 animated feature film The Garfield Movie, a film adaptation of Jim Davis' comic strip Garfield.
She is the head of security at the Lactose Farms.
She is voiced by Cecily Strong, who also played Virginia Malkin in Leo.
Appearance[]
Marge Malone is a tall woman with teal green eyes, a long nose, and big round ears. She wears grey officer clothes with the logo Lactose Farms on her shoulder and cap. She also has red curly hair with a curled up pom-pom tail on the back. Marge also wears black pants and shoes.
Personality[]
Marge is a cold-hearted and tough officer woman who will arrest animals who break into Lactose Farms, She is considered to be Otto's arch nemesis when she takes Ethel away from him. Malone is skillfully intelligent when she uses a app on her phone to communicate to what animals are saying, for example she suspects a call from unknown mastermind criminal cat (which is actually Jinx) who plots to steal milk from Lactose Farms (although Garfield, Odie, and Vic are the ones who are trying to break in).
However despite both her abilities and intelligence, she was easily fooled by Garfield & Vic and Odie when they disguised as a dealer in order to take Jinx in prison as defeat and rescues Ethel the Cow as Garfield is doing this for Otto the Bull.
Though Marge proved she has honor as she agreed to release Ethel (allowing for Ethel and Otto to be happily reunited) in exchange for the stolen milk as well as the true mastermind behind the heist, and she acknowledged that Garfield and Vic were forced by Jinx into committing the crime, holding the wicked feline accountable for her actions and sentencing her to community service. She also agreed that this whole incident never happens.
History[]
Marge is first summoned by Jinx when She tips the former that Garfield, Odie and Otto and Vic have broken into the farm. She manages to capture the three and send them to the pound although Garfield and Odie are freed by Jon, Vic gets captured by Jinx causing Garfield and Odie to go after her.
Later after Jinx is defeated, the trio lock her in a cage and disguise themselves as a bulky man and through the use of a pet translator app on a smartphone trade her for Otto's girlfriend Ethel. Having heard of her evil plan on the phone earlier Marge forces Jinx to do to community service as punishment. She last seen watching Jinx collect trash in a rubbish bag.

- She may be a reference to Marge Gunderson, the protagonist of Fargo, as they share a first name, serve in some form of law enforcement, and have the same accent.
