Mariabell Rosso also known as Greedy is a major antagonist of the anime and manga series That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime franchise.
In her second life as the niece of Granbell Rosso, she enforced her grandfather's will, as well as being influencing in the Rosso family. She attempted to sabotage Tempest's goals to be friends of the humanity, as confronted Rimuru Tempest, before be killed by Yuuki Kagurazaka.
She is voiced by Inori Minase in Japanese and Kira Buckland in English.
Appearance[]
Mariabell currenly is a teenager of fair skin, blonde hair and pink eyes. She wears a long-sleeved maroon dress with a white border and a white cover between her neck and shoulders Over that cover, she has a black ribbon with a flower-shaped brooch with golden, white and green colors. In the sleeves, she has a olive green bracelets in each wrist. And she wears a black shoes over white socks with black mini-ribbons.
Personality[]
She has a very greedy personality and is very rational in her decision making. Having her calculating and scheming mindset, she is notorious for manipulating many people's "desires" with her Unique skill, Greed, for her own ends.
Due to her avaricious personality, inherited memories and knowledge from her previous world on advanced economics and her own circumstances of not really facing a genuine threat in her second life. Mariabell is shown to have become completely overconfident and arrogant in her approach to the other natives of the world, as seen where she possessed complete and utter faith and belief that her Unique skill could allow her to completely dominate and defeat anyone and resulted in her making several strategical errors in her plan to confront Rimuru Tempest due to believing that her overall power could easily defeat a true demon lord of Octagram, due to believing the overall power level of a Demon Lord was only equal to that of a demon lord seed.
Synopsis[]
Conflict between Saints and Monsters Arc[]
After her grandfather Granbell failed in defeat Rimuru, she appears and decided to continue his plains, guaranting she will no fail like his grandfather, to the happines of the latter.
Territory Seizure Arc[]
Mariabell and her grandfather reports to Damrada about their failure, but he decides not to get involved in the situation any further. However, she and Granbell are not willing to give up trying to eliminate Rimuru.
Oppening of a Monster City Arc[]
Mariabell infiltrates the festival guests, initially discovering what Tempest had to offer, thus finding more reasons to overthrow Rimuru. After that, he sends Duke Muese to initially gain his trust to finish him off, hampering his financial funds to ruin Tempest's image. However, Rimuru had enough funds to prevent that, thanks to Elmesia's help, but Muese ends up being rejected by Rimuru. After Mariabell tells her grandfather what she saw in Tempest, the two continue with their plans to destroy the monster nation and take over the Central World.
