Marianne, also known Miss Goldenweek and the Flag-Bearer of Freedom, is the secondary antagonist in the Little Garden Arc and the titular main protagonist of Miss Goldenweek's "Operation: Meet Baroque Works" mini series in the manga and anime series One Piece.

She is a former officer agent of Baroque Works along with her partner Mr. 3. After freeing her comrades from a prison escort, she now works as a painter at the new Spider's Cafe with them.

She was voiced by Akiko Nakagawa in Japanese and Cindy Creekmore (Odex) and Cherami Leigh (Funimation) in English.

Appearance[]

Marianne is a teenager girl with dark red hair tied in two pigtails with braids. She has short with a large black eyes and has circles of blush of the cheeks. She wore a pink hat with a green band with the wide-brimmed, dark blue T-shirt that reads the word "GOLDEN" on it. In the anime series it has pink and orange, sky blue and white cloud pattern down by her skirt, and a maroon skirt with an overall top fold down, a blue and light purple socking, and large red shoes with white soles and white cuffs. She loves eating rice crackers.

Personality[]

Marianne is a passive and extremely laid back individual who is not directly combative unless threatened; namely, as seen at the picnic on Little Garden, she prefers using her talents to aid her colleagues in battle rather than take part in battles herself.

As seen after her defeat in Little Garden, Marianne prefers an easygoing lifestyle and had no issue transitioning to her new role at the Spider's Cafe following the defeat and dissolution of Baroque Works.
