Biography[]
Background[]
Marika Hejek was born sometime after 2019 in the Czech Republic after the birth of her brother, Krystof "Firebreak" Hejek. After she was born and in her toddler years, her mother left her family due to her drunken father and his abusiveness towards her brother. In 2029, her father got to drunk and became enraged at Marika, and ended up breaking her arm. Firebreak tried to burn down his father's warehouse in retaliation, but ended up being in jail for 3 days. After he got out, Marika ended up burning down the house, killing her father and making Firebreak hallucinate that he killed his father.
Reconcilation[]
Sometime between 2037 and 2043 Firebreak, who had just gotten out of a correctional facility and on leave from the military, sought out his sister. He eventually tracked down Marika to an abandoned warehouse and re-introduced himself. After a brief conversation regarding their father, Marika revealed she had in reality burned their father and had Firebreak hallucinate the murder. While he was in disbelief, Marika took off her wig, revealing her scars and lit a match. Firebreak tried to stop her, but to no avail and the warehouse caught on fire. Marika started to walk away and he went after her, but was crushed by a broken ceiling panel. Firebreak called out to his sister, but Marika just laughed at him and left the abandoned warehouse to burn down with her brother still inside.
Interview[]
Between 2043 and 2045, Savannah Mason-Meyer conducted interviews and audio logs regarding each member of Project Blackout. In one of Firebreaks audio logs, he mentioned Marika and his father.
