Morse: What would you going to do with the money?
Marion: Persecute you.
Morse: All this... murder and theft... and murder again... All this just to get me?
Marion: And we will, in the end, we will get you.
Morse: All right. All right...
~ Marion threatening Morse by the end of her interrogation.

Marion Brooke is a supporting antagonist of Inspector Morse franchise.

She serves as a minor antagonist of Inspector Morse television series, being the secondary antagonist in "Masonic Mysteries", the fourth episode in Series 4. She is also a minor character in its prequel Endeavour, appearing in the second episode of its Series 3, "Arcadia".

Marion was the leader of the AMNOX, an humanitarian organization, and secretly the accomplice of Hugo De Vries and an agent of the Masons, serving as his companion to frame Morse for murder and commit theft to persecute Morse, an action that was under the command from the enigmatic Freemasonry leaders in Oxford.

She was portrayed by Diane Fletcher in Inspector Morse, and her younger self was portrayed by Elisabeth Hopper in Endeavour.

Biography[]

Endeavour[]

Chronologically, Morse first met Marion in her office while he was investigating the murder of Simon Hallward, under the name of a donor. He introduced himself and asked about Verity Richardson, who was a part of AMNOX.
