Marquis de Léon

The Marquis de Léon (formerly known as King Leo) is a man turned monster and the ruler of the Palais de Léon that took over the kingdom of Zamovska in Dragon Quest IV, Balzack is his subordinate.

Appearance

He resembles a blue lion with a grey mane and red eyes (though in the NES version they are perceived as entirely white). He has eight legs, four of which are used as arms for attacking and four to stand up.

Other appearances

• He makes recurring appearances as a monster in the Dragon Quest Monsters spin-offs. In Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 he was a close friend of Captain Crow and the hero faces it in the fourth encounter.
• He is set to appear on an expansion of Dragon Quest X.
