Marquis de Léon

The Marquis de Léon (formerly known as King Leo) is a man turned monster and the ruler of the Palais de Léon that took over the kingdom of Zamovska in Dragon Quest IV, Balzack is his subordinate.

Appearance

He resembles a blue lion with a grey mane and red eyes (though in the NES version they are perceived as entirely white). He has eight legs; stands up on four and the rest are used as arms.

Other appearances

• He makes recurring appearances as a monster in the Dragon Quest Monsters spin-offs. In Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 he was a close friend of Captain Crow and the hero faces it in the fourth encounter. He can be recruited at the Dark World or synthesized with a Mohawker and a Buffalogre.
• He is set to appear on an expansion of Dragon Quest X.
