Marshal Guiltorre is an antagonist from Metal Armor Dragonar and the initial leader of the Giganos Empire.
Appearance[]
Marshal Guiltorre is an elderly man with short grey hair. He dresses in red and wears a dark cloak.
Biography[]
Marshal Guiltorre's first real meeting with him is when Bagis calls it a mistake to depend on Meio Plato as they believed he would steal back the Dragonar Metal Armors to repay his father's crimes no matter what it would've taken. But after what happened, they must punish Meio severely, but Iskander stated that there is no need and still states that they still have use for him and the Dragonars aren't completely beyond recovery, much to the protest of the officer. The marshal also states that the Earth's military plans to reproduce them.
In order to stop it, they must have Meio carry this out. Later on, Iskander learns about the Dragonars being taken to the earth military's base on their home planet. He also finds Earth beautiful from the angle he is seeing it from. He also is aware of what Bagis is thinking. Bagis explains that the Giganos military is waiting to hear Guiltorre's commands after gathering in the battle room.
Once there, he is requested to give the command to fire the meltdown cannon as things have been coming to a dead end. After a great deal of debate regarding Meio and the Giganos Cross Forces, Gultorre explains that "His unfathomability is his charm.", but says nothing will affect it this time. He also states he will not permit the cannon to completely destroy such a beautiful world with outstanding people. The only thing the marshal will permit slain is unworthy. He then orders the destruction of Earth's military headquarters. Later, at a meeting with Meio after a long time apart, he asks Bagis to leave his seat.
He tells Meio that he had no need to come personally and apologizes. Guiltorre then watches a fighting fish with Meio and says that there can only be one per tank and will fight if another enters its vicinity. The marshal tells Meio that even if he is the son of Lyle Plato, he will not cover him. Meio explains that he has prepared himself.
According to reports Guiltorre heard on the earth, Dragonar has overcome another obstacle, and Meio pleads for once more chance. Guiltorre also heard rumors regarding Meio's father being alive and asks what he intends to do. According to Dianne, he spread news about Lang Plato's supposed death for a unified image of Giganos. Later, during a rebellion against the empire, Guiltorre is feeling guilt an is confronted by several generals.
He reprimands them for smoking. After Meio tells him how the rebels will not accept his suggestions. Meio asks him for more time so he can make them give up. Guiltorre tells Meio that the rebels are people who oppose them. Meio honestly does not wish to view them as rebels, but make them future heroes to the empire. Guiltorre asks him if he should believe him or if he is the mastermind. Meio reassures him that he is only loyal to him. Later while the people who want a change of cabinet are wreaking havoc and the generals decide to settle this matter with force quickly, the marshal summons Meio, having beginning to realize how the rebels feel.
The marshal then brings to question the leadership and management of earth after winning. They also need the experience of the generals. But the marshal states they need to win this battle. He also asks Meio if they committed a great wrong. Meio tells him yes. The marshal also states the planet shaken his beliefs and informs him that a few people are requesting the usage of the stone cannon. Meio asks if Dorchenov is involved. The marshal tell Meio to think about what would happen to earth and asks what the battle is for. Guiltorre exclaims he cannot permit it. Soon after Dorchenov himself burst into the room when Meio and Guiltorre were conversing about the current events, exclaiming there is not anymore time and the rebels must be killed before their morale improves. When the marshal objects, Dorchenov tells him they should not care about Meio anymore.
Meio demands an explanation as he cannot let this matter rest. Dorchenov accuses him as a mastermind of the rebellion feigning loyalty and points his gun at him, asking Guiltorre to slaughter the rebels and launch magma stones towards the earth. If the marshal denies this request, he will have to prepare for the independent actions of Dorchenov and company. When Guiltorre tries to intervene, Dorchenov turns his gun on him, leading to the marshal getting fatally shot trying to disarm him. At that moment, Dorchenov uses Meio as a scapegoat for the murder. Meio however, manages to break free and an All Points Bulletin is placed on him. Meio however manages to destroy the cannon and flees from the moon.
