The Martial Emperor is a one-man army who is capable of grounding rocks, tear apart mountains, and twist even heaven.
Biography[]
Three thousand years before the story began, the Martial Emperor, known as the mightiest Martial Artist in history, was a super-human born in the capital of China and mastered all forms of martial arts, fencing, combat arts, and magic. He was also the source of all modern martial arts. This exceeded all imagination and he knew nothing of defeat, this power enabled him to singlehandedly butcher the army of a country as an example of flooding the world with his might in hope of gaining the eternal power he desired.
Upon realising that it was too soon for worldwide conquest, he entered into a deep slumber by using one of his own arcane art "Rakshasa King Fighting Soul" to strike a pressure point in order to conquer the world. However, his consiousness remained awake thanks to the control he has over it while a hundred demons watch over his slumber while the seeds of his power sprouted across the world.
The Martial Emperor is first mentioned by Geese Howard as someone who desired the strongest army on earth and the one who ressurected Geese Howard. The Martial Emperor is also a god with military might on the world. When Andy asked about the Martial Emperor, Geese just tells him he is right before his very eyes.
Following the demise of Liuo Himmler, the Martial Emperor announces to Geese that he needs the body of Terry Bogard in order to complete his resurrection. Geese insists he be patient as he intends to have Terry and company defeated this time and that the emperor will awaken soon.
Jirai later explains to Terry and company following Andy breaking free of his possession that the Martial Emperor requires powerful energy like theirs in order to revive.
As Terry and company fight the hundred demons, the Martial Emperor begins to awaken, but has not entered his complete state. As more people join the fight against the remaining demons, one of Geese's men arrive to tell him that the Martial Emperor is trying to revive himself.
Geese acknowledges this, but the underling warns him that there will be no telling what could happen when the Emperor revives. Geese does not care if Devil Street gets eradicated as a result and would earn his amusement. Geese gladly also tells his minions that they have no means of stopping his revival and will bring forth chaos to the world of martial arts.
Following the demise of the hundred demons guarding the temple, Geese reveals to the heroes that the Martial Emperor will soon absorb the power of every martial artist across the world in order to resurrect and Geese was helping out by setting up a false martial arts tournament to lure in unexpecting victims for this purpose.
Geese then fights Terry and company to stall them long enough for the Martial Emperor to revive. However, Joe tells his companions to handle Geese while he and bear try to stop the Emperor's revival.
However, when they get to him, the Emperor has already awakened and has impaled one monk and was holding another by the head. Joe vows to knock the Emperor back to his slumber. The Emperor however knocks them both aside as he walks past them.
As the duo get back on their feet to try and stop him from leaving his chamber. The Emperor responds by launchng his "Demon Sqace Quake Wave" at them which not only strikes them with demon-like projectiles, it also catches muiltiple monks in the crossfire.
The Martial Emeror also blows the roof off the temple with his power. The moment the Emperor looks at Geese, he does not recognize him despite being the one to conduct the Emperor's resurrection in hopes of him using his spower to cover the world in strife and war.
Upon finding he was in an incomplete state, the Emperor turns to Geese and grabs him by the shirt and threw him aside despite begging for mercy. The Martial Emperor decides to drain all their blood in order to complete his resurrection.
Terry and company proceed to face off against the superhuman. When their attacks did not harm him, the Emperor proceeds to use his "Rioting Dragon Heaven Nil Explosion" move against them. Geese then realises how devil-like the Martial Emperor was and that everyone will die at his hands.
When Terry hits him with a power wave, the Emperor tanks the attack and Terry warns his friends of how dangerous the situation was now and that they must stand back. The Emeperor then fires his "Flying Dragon Super Destructive Explosion" move against them which involves launching Chinese dragon-like projectiles blowing away opposing enemies within its radius.
This incident culminates inthe Emperor feeling life returning to him. Terry, however gets back up, telling the Emperor that he will pay for this predicament and vows to stop him here and now. The Martial Emperor declares his resurrection complete after absorbing the blood and energy of the people he had killed with his attack.
However, Terry proceeds to absorb power from the rage of people who died as a result of the Emperor in order to ensure the Emperor gets his commuppence for the lives lost over three thousand years as a result of the Emperor's lust for power.
The empowered Terry proceeds to fight the Emperor on even grounds and strikes him with a "big bang power shot" attack which blows off one of the Emperor's arms. However, Geese reveals that the Martial Emperor is still alive. True to Geese's words, the Martial Emperor, who also lost half his face from Terry's attack, gets back on his feet.
It is soon revealed that he has a monstrous appearance underneath his seemingly human form thanks to the deal he made with the devil, having noticed the existence of the evil spirits during his difficult training and was able to sense energy that normal people could not perceive.
It's energy that belonged to innumerable evil spirits that wandered between dimensions and there was a limit on human power while evil spirits have limitless power. The Emperor then opened his soul to them without hesitation in order to become the strongest martial artist in the world.
He offered himself to the evil spirits and fell into the three-thousand year slumber in order to attain this power. Having returned, the Martial Emperor declared that there is no one to defeat him in his pursuit of power.
Terry however countered this by pointing out that there is a Yang of good to balance out the Yin of evil as there cannot be a negative without a positive and it is good telling Terry to put the mad martial artist down with the energy of good empowering Terry and his friends.
The Martial Emperor still scoffs at this believing he can never can be defeated before the heroes proceed to fight him head on. As they vow to send him to hell, the Emperor declares he will bring hell to here. However, the heroes declare that they will not let the villain, appearing increasingly demonic, escape his "circle".
Terry ultimately proceeds to deal the finishing blow to finish off the emperor who gets annihilated in the blast to the point there is nothing of him left.
