Marugori, also called Beefcake, is a minor antagonist in the manga/anime series One Punch Man. Originally a bodybuilder with a dream of becoming the strongest human, he later mutated into a giant with the help of his elder brother, Fukegao.
He is voiced by Shinya Hamazoe (who also voiced Mountain Ape) in Japanese and Bryce Papenbrook (who also voiced Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, Inosuke Hashibira in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Meliodas in The Seven Deadly Sins franchise) in English.

Human[]
Before transforming into a giant, Marugori was a young man with light skin and a muscular build. His hair was shaved and black, and he wore a white tank top and blue jeans.
Giant[]
After he transformed, his clothes ripped as he morphed into a giant, growing to 270 meters (885'10") in height. He also became far more muscular, with two veins bulging outwards to form a collar around his neck. Above his nose, his skin had vanished, leaving only his skull.
Personality[]
Marugori was very determined with his goal. Working out regularly in the gym and searching for ways to improve his muscle mass through machines.
He was also a very loyal person, as he was shown to trust his brother with his newly invented steroid, and later tried to avenge him by attacking Saitama relentlesly. Since killing his brother was his mistake as he slapped his wrong shoulder, it can be shown that he felt remorseful for his actions.
After mutating into a giant, he was consumed by his power, choosing to kill people and cause immense collateral destruction just because he could.
Biography[]
Introduction Saga[]
Marugori was first seen in the lab of his older brother, Fukegao. Fukegao had recently invented a steroid called Biceps Brachii King and offered it to Marugori, claiming that it would make his dream come true. Although initially hesitant, Marugori accepted and took the steroid after Fukegao reassured him he added strawberry flavoring to help it go down. Immediately, Marugori began to transform into a giant. His transformation ripped through his clothes and burst through Fukegao's lab as he grew up to 270 meters (885'10") in a matter of seconds. He put his brother on his left shoulder and began walking to the nearby city, D-City. As he arrives, he remembers his dream and starts using his new power, swinging his arms and crushing many buildings. Fukegao is excited about his invention, and they move to the next city, B-City.
Once they arrived, Fukegao noticed that Saitama was sitting on Marugori's right shoulder. Fukegao ordered Marugori to kill him. Marugori obeyed, but mistakenly slapped his left shoulder, killing Fukegao instead. Realizing his mistake, he grabbed Saitama and threw him to the ground, accusing him of his brother's death. Marugori then began punching Saitama repeatedly, creating a huge hole in the ground. Looking at his brother's corpse, Marugori began to mourn and realized how empty he felt after achieving his goal. But unexpectedly for Marugori, Saitama jumped out of the hole perfectly fine and punched him in the face, killing him as he crashed onto and destroyed B-City.

Before Marugori took his brother's newly invented steroid, he was a strong human, assumed by his body and his training to become the strongest man in the world. After he was mutated into a giant, he became much stronger and was able to generate a shockwave with his new strength.

- Shockwave Generation: Using his overwhelming strength, he could generate a shockwave just by using his hands.
Abilities[]
- Immense Strength: After drinking the steroid his brother made him, he became a giant and, as a result he became very strong. He could destroy buildings just by stepping on them, or simply create a large shockwave with a simple swing of his arms. Even this level of power was enough to create a large hole on the ground about 100 meters wide.
- Enhanced Speed: Marugori could deliver combos in a matter of seconds despite being a giant.
