Mary’s Henchwomen are the secondary antagonists of The Haunting Hour season one finale episode “Scary Mary”.
They are henchwomen and servants of Mary who helped serve her by capturing girls who want to friend her with one of them being Hannah. They are portrayed by Rachel Roskelll, Chiara Guzzo, Alexandra Kaczynski, and Jessyka Fennoy.
Personality[]
Mary's Henchwomen are eerily calm and collected, with a twisted sense of purpose that drives their unwavering loyalty to Scary Mary, yet they occasionally reveal a glimmer of empathy, as seen when one of them comforted Hannah in her fear, making their unnerving composure and unrelenting dedication to their mistress's sinister bidding all the more complex and intriguing.
Appearance[]
They are nothing but face-masked figures (due to their faces being taken and used by Mary) in which they have to wear masks. They each wear a dress of a color (teal, blue, red, or orange).
Biography[]
Past[]
Not much are know about their past or their lives, besides being servants of Mary, unless because they have presumably heard about Mary’s story.
Wanting to meet, for someone to chant her name, so she could take their face and once again be beautiful and adored. To summon Mary, they must hold a candle in front of a mirror in a dark room, and say a poem. Then turn on the lights and look in the mirror at the same time.
Taking a vicious streak as a ghost, Mary then started taking into stalking young beautiful girls before dragging them to her realm to imprison her until they become her slaves.
Then when they transport to her world, Mary would remove their faces by tearing them off and frequently wear there faces to see if a boy has called upon her, reacting in a violent rage when none does.
Scary Mary[]
An insecure girl named Hannah carries out the task, but nothing appears to happen. Days later, Hannah finds a compact hairbrush with an M on it. Later Hannah sneaks out to go shopping for beauty supplies.
When a friend calls her mom says she is grounded. Meanwhile, Hanna is in her room.
She is applying make-up and brushing her hair with the M brush she found.
Unbeknownst to her, a group of girls with masks are in her mirror. When her mom hears something she finds nothing in Hanna's room. After she leaves, Hannah is revealed to be in Scary Mary's world because the girls in masks broke through the mirror and pulled her in.
While in Scary Mary's world, Hannah refuses to be like everyone else, who have given their faces to Mary. Mary uses the girl's faces to disguise herself as one of them, hoping that a boy will come to rescue the girl and take Mary out of her world, but nobody ever comes. Hannah's friend Eric comes to find her and finds Mary with her face and realizes that it's not her.
Mary's farmhouse sets on fire, representing what had killed her. He finds the real Hannah in a chest, and gets back to the real world by going in a river full of Mary's tears as the duo leave Mary’s world.
At the end of the episode, Mary calls for Eric from his mirror before charging at him, implying that he is going to be taken by her. It is unknown in what have happened to them afterwards.
