~ Mary-san |
Mary-san is an unknown ghost in the Japanese urban legends.
Biography[]
Mary-san is a being that can be summoned through a seance using a phone booth, and the seance requires a ten yen coin, a phone booth, and a number that is supposed to be her phone number.
If successful, the ritual phone call will remain silent, and after hanging up the phone, she will call the cell phone of the person who performed the ritual several times to tell that person where she is now. The place she tells the person about is getting closer and closer to that person, and eventually the person will appear behind him or her.
She won't leave the person if the person doesn't do anything her, but the person can make her leave by doing approaches to her, such as locking the all doors of the house before she comes, not answering her phone calls, putting your back against the wall, giving her cream puffs, raiding her going to target, and make othering stay behind her target.
Currently, there is no record of her killing anyone, but the urban legends about her include "killing people", which means she has killed more than one person.
Appearance[]
Mary-san's definite appearance has not been determined. However, in the subculture about her, she is often portrayed as a girl in gothic or Lolita clothing. Derived from this, there is also an urban legend that Mary-san is associated with dolls.
