The Mass Produced Kurtis are the minor villainous species in the video game Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories.
Biography[]
The Mass Produced Kurtis are a series of robots created by the Earth Defence Force from Kurtis' battle data. While they were planned to be used as the next Defenders of Earth, their lack of a "heart" led to them being not used for said task by the scientists that created them.
Before General Carter could use them for anything, the robots would flee Earth in search for Kurtis, wanting to destroy him themselves to prove themselves superior to him. They would track Kurtis down on the world of Veldime.
One of the Mass Produced Kurtis units would attack Kurtis first with Adell and Rozalin helping him out. After the unit was defeated, it would blow itself up, sending its data to the other Mass Produced Kurtis while removing Kurtis' ability to examine his body.
Later the rest of the Mass Produced Kurtis would attack Kurtis, Adell and Rozalin in a back alley, ambushing them, however, Captain Gordon, Jennifer and Thursday would appear to help, attacking and destroying most of the Mass Produced Kurtis before they incapacitate both Jennifer and Thursday.
What remained of the Mass Produced Kurtis would mock the heroes for their spirit, viewing it as worthless in the face of logic and victory. Most of the Mass Produced Kurtis would be destroyed with the last remaining unit lamenting his situation of being seen as trash and not having a heart while he tried to kill Kurtis.
The original Kurtis would point out that it wasn't their lack of a heart that led to them being discarded, but because they refused to have compassion, with Thursday, a robot, having a heart and being a true Defender of Earth. In the end, Kurtis would destroy the last Mass Produced Kurtis unit, however, it would send its data back to Earth.
The Defenders of Earth promised to resolve the situation and travelled back to Earth. The fate of the Mass Produced Kurtis on Earth is unknown.
