Master Chicken

NOTE: This article is only about the Movie and Video Game version of the character, as the mainstream Ninjago variant of this character is not a villain.

Sensei Wu's unnamed pet chicken, also known as the Master Chicken, is the main antagonist of the 2016 The LEGO Ninjago Movie short film The Master, and a minor antagonist in the The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game.

She is voiced by Abbi Jacobson, who also voiced Nya in the same movie.

Biography[]

The Master: A LEGO Ninjago Short[]

The chicken is seen disrupting Sensei Wu's attempt to spell out "The Master". After breaking into the temple for the third time, she kicks Wu out of the temple, and then they duel. During their duel, she spells out "Chicken" in the sand, and continues to destroy Wu's temple while taunting him. She also steals his hat. After winning the duel by spelling out Master Chicken on the wall, Wu leaves in defeat, but the chicken changes the phrase to "The Masters". Wu fakes enjoyment at this, before kicking the chicken out of the temple at the letter S, returning it back to "The Master".

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game[]

The chicken returns as a boss in the video game, where Lloyd and Wu must work together to defeat her. It is unknown if they kill the chicken or not, but due to the chicken piece remaining intact, it's likely that the chicken survived.

Trivia[]

After it's appearance in the short, a similar, non-villainous chicken was added to the show as Wu's pet.
