If Captain America represented the American Dream, than '''Master Man''' represented the Nazi regime. Created in a process similar to that of his star spangled foe,
Wilhelm Lohmer's strength and speed far exceeded those of Cap. Placed under the command of the [[Red Skull]], Master Man menaced the wartime superhero team, the Invaders, only to be defeated each time by them. Placed in suspended animation after the war with his love, Warrior Woman, Master Man reawoke years later to battle his old foe, Namor the Sub-Mariner, and a new Master Man. During the fight, Lohmer lost his abilities, and was killed saving Cable from a bullet.
