Master Ranjaku is a supporting antagonist in Fatal Fury: Devil Street of Horror.
Appearance[]
Ranjaku is a light-haired individual who wears a white cape over a black cloak.
Powers and Abillities[]
Ranjaku's primary form of attack is the "Hundred Demon Killing Art: Violent Peacock" which summons dozens of spears to impale his enemies. However, it is possible to use massive concrete stones to block the spears.
Biography[]
Ranjaku makes his first appearance when Kiryu orders Terry and company to halt when they approach the wall of one hundred demons and makes a speech about their duty and the heroes' pending deaths. As the mad beast was being let loose, Ranjaku watches as Kiryu tells the heroes that they must defeat his 99 fellow demons to get to him.
Ranjaku then presumably watches alongside dozens of the demons as they scream for the beast to kill the heroes until Bear manages to put down the fiend, leading to the other demons attacking. He also presumably watched when the demons resorted to killing one person each when a demon dies.
When Terry, Bear, and Joe try to attack, Ranjaku watches as his fellow demons cover them with rubble and try to kill the hostages afterwards. This however was foiled when Terry and company emerge alive. This prompts the demons present to assault the three.
This is where Ranjaku takes his time to shine by using his "Hundred Demon Killing Art: Violent Peacock" which summons dozens of spears to use against the heroes. However, Bear manages to block a portion of the spears with a block of concrete while still getting pierced by them.
Ranjaku commends them for their friendship, but straight up declares his intend to see them get killed. When Terry declares his intent to have as many demons beaten as possible, Ranjaku calls them spirited, but orders a bunch of the demons to kill the heroes, telling the trio that they are powerless to stop them.
Just as some of the demons are about to kill the hostages, they get impaled by spears by people from the villagers of Devil Street led by Mai who arrived to save the surviving kidnappees much to Ranjaku's shock as she orders the charge.
Regardless, Ranjaku orders his minions to crush the opposition when he gets surrounded by Terry's entire group who suspect he may be considering abandoning his comrades to save his own skin moments before he gets stabbed multiple times with spears. He approaches his lord, Kiryu, one last time before dying from his wounds.
Joe and Bear survive and warn their friends about the Emperor's power.
