Master Traquer is a minor antagonist in the 1984 comic series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Mirage Studios, appearing as the main antagonist of the non canon issue "Men of Shadow". He is the master of a group of vampires, who wants to return to the old days where vampire ruled the Earth and feasted on humans as they pleased. He is the archenemy of Clark Ashton Allard.

Appearance[]

Traquer takes on the appearance of a vampire with blue skin and orange eyes, He has a long black hair with several cornrows with a ponytail, as well as a mustache.

Personality[]

Traquer is a hedonist to the extreme. Having enjoyed feeding and abusing humans as he pleased, he doesn't take it kindly on having to hide from the race he considers inferior when they rose up against the vampires, viewing death as a better alternative if not back on top. With this, he has no concern for anyone else of his own kind, who all fear him due to him not having much tolerance for failure. His pride is practically dangerous, when even warned his plan could threaten the very extinction of all vampires, he shrugs them off as long as he has a chance to be above everyone else.

Biography[]

Master Traquer is the lord of the vampires. Back then, he relished on dominating humans like all vampires were, attacking and draining their blood whenever he pleases to. However, vampire supremacy was eventually undone, and the vampires were forced to hide from the human race. Allying himself with the Order of Dagon, Traquer, nostalgic over old days, seeks to unleash Dagon, a destructive eldritch abomination, to ravage the world and annihilate humanity. With this, he came in conflict with immortal Allard who sought to thwart Traquer's nefarious plans.

In order to unleash Dagon he needs various various ancient artifacts needed to complete the ritual, to which he orders his men to be armed and invade the University of Massachusetts who take in April & Casey. When surrounded they are surrounded by the police, Traquer, furious about this, orders them to either kill the cops or hostages, or kill themselves using a bomb to keep the existence of vampires unknown. However, Allard and the Turtles interfere and run away with the third artifact.

But Traquer then goes on to track Allard down to one of his hideout's and claim the artifact, taking the teenage Maximillian Jones as a mere victory feast. Having Max and Allard tied up, Traquer helps the Order of Dagon begin preparations to release Dagon. Allard then warns Traquer on how Dagon poses a danger to all and that even his own kind could end up wiped out, much to his apathy as he declares death to be a better fate than hiding from a race he considers inferior. The ceremony is successful and Dagon emerges, devouring chunks of Traquer's followers much to his lack of concern. But Allard & Max are freed by Casey & the Turtles, who proceed to kill all the vampires and banish Dagon back, while Max uses Casey's broken bat to impale Traquer and kill him, as well as the Order of Dagon as a whole.
