Mateo (also known as Insane Kid and Emerald Prince) is the main antagonist of the Dorito's Reaction YouTube channel.
He appears as the titular main antagonist of the "Insane Kid" videos and sometimes a supporting protagonist in other videos on the channel. He is the younger brother of Daniel and he is also the archenemy of not only Daniel, but also Josh (the cousin of Daniel and Mateo). The videos typically show him raging at the littlest things, such as losing at Geometry Dash and seeing back-to-school commercials on TV. He also hates Christmas, as he destroyed all of the ornaments on the tree.

Mateo is a child (8-11 years old) with black hair.
As of the 2024 Bluey Video, Mateo is a teenager.
Biography[]
In GREATEST FREAKOUT EVER! KID RAGES OVER ROBLOX! He rages over a Roblox hacker in-game when they “killed him through the wall” and tells Roblox to fix it, but it didn’t work. He then destroys various household items, such as a chair. Daniel comes in and asks him what’s the big deal, but Mateo notices that he is recording and tries to take the camera away from him (likely to destroy it); the video ending with him telling Daniel to turn it off.
In INSANE KID RAGES OVER GEOMETRY DASH! *SMASHES IPAD*, he rages over Geometry Dash on iPad, resulting in him breaking it.
He rages over the game “not letting him jump”. His cousin, Josh, tells him to shut up and stop raging, but Mateo throws a bucket at him. A few moments later, he dies again and rages once more. Josh tells him to shut up again and pushes him to a couch. Mateo asks “What did you just do?” and tries to throw the bucket at him again. 5 minutes later, Mateo rages for the third time, making Josh attack him, but Mateo gets up and throws two water bottles at his face before tackling him again. Mateo dies for the fourth time, calling the game the worst ever and unfair before breaking a chair.
Being fed up with his behavior, Josh covers him in a blanket. 5 more minutes later, he tells Mateo that he broke the chair, but he denies this. Josh asks “Then who broke it?” Before ramming into him. A few minutes after Mateo broke the chair, he rages again, and his cousin tries to chase him around the room but trips. Mateo taunts him, but Josh gets up and tackles him to the floor. Eventually, Daniel himself comes into the room and asks Mateo why does he keep on screaming, as he was raging for the past 30 minutes and shouldn’t be playing Geometry Dash in the first place, but Mateo tries to break Daniel’s iPad. Mateo gets his iPad back, but continues to rage, so his cousin leaves the room.
At 9 PM, Mateo is still playing the game, so Daniel decides to mess him up by putting a Minecraft Steve head on him and throws it at him. Mateo dies at the game again, and he throws the Minecraft Steve head on the iPad, which breaks it. The video ending with Daniel telling him that he deserves it for raging.
In Little Brother Rage (I called the police), Mateo is raging over Pixel Gun 3D on his iPad, and rages even more once Daniel teases him about deleting the game along with Minecraft and Roblox from the iPad and attempting to call the police on him, but Mateo accidentally presses the call button. Daniel tells Mateo that it’s all his fault, but he blames it on him. The police arrive, and the mother answers the door. In a different language, the officer states that they have received a call from the household, and the mother (in a different language) says that Daniel was bothering Mateo and accidentally called the police, resulting in Mateo being grounded unlike Daniel, who got away scot-free.
In INSANE KID RAGES OVER BACK TO SCHOOL COMMERCIALS! *SMASHES TV*, he rages at back-to-school commercials on TV as it was July. Daniel comes into the living room and tells him to stop raging again before revealing he was recording him the entire time to Mateo’s dismay.
In LITTLE BROTHER RAGES OVER CHRISTMAS! *HILARIOUS*, he rages over Christmas and destroys several of the Christmas tree’s ornaments. Daniel comes in and shoots Mateo with a water gun, but Mateo grabs it from him and tries shooting him with it to no avail before attacking him again, making Daniel’s fingers bleed before revealing to Mateo that he was being recorded the whole time.
In I GAVE MY LITTLE BROTHER COAL FOR CHRISTMAS! *INSANE FREAKOUT*, Daniel pulls a prank on Mateo by giving him coal and puts it in an iPhone box, making Mateo rage by destroying various household items, such as a chair and destroying the Christmas ornaments.
In INSANE KID RAGES OVER FORTNITE! *SMASHES CONTROLLER*, he rages over Fortnite due to his team being bad at the game, causing him to smash the controller onto the floor. He would then be grounded by his mother for destroying everything in the living room.
In ULTIMATE FORTNITE RAGE!! *OMG HE SMASHES TV*, he smashes the TV over a supposed Fortnite hacker and troll in-game.
In KID RAGES AFTER GETTING BANNED FROM FORTNITE CHAPTER 2!! (GONE WRONG) *SO FUNNY*, he rages over his account get hacked and getting banned from Fortnite Chapter 2.
In the latest "Insane Kid" video from 2024 called MY BROTHER RAGED OVER BLUEY HEELER FAMILY!! (SMASHED TV), he rages every time Daniel interrupted his Fortnite game by playing Bluey on the TV, to the point that he shoots the TV with a gun. (Although it turned out fine after since the gunshot was a faked edit) Later on he watches a horror video of Bluey and both Mateo and Daniel are scared. They later encounter Bluey and Bingo in real life, and Mateo shoots them with his gun and sets them on fire, killing them.
Personality[]
Mateo is shown to be a reckless, wrathful, and overall insane child, raging over the smallest and pettiest things, such as losing at a video game on his iPad, most infamously Geometry Dash, Roblox, and Fortnite. He is also shown to hate back-to-school commercials, Christmas, and Bluey, as he rages upon seeing them.

- After the Fortnite video, Mateo had not made any future appearances on the channel, and it's unknown why this was the case. It wasn't until 2024 where he would get a video again, which is about him raging over Bluey as a teenager.
