~ Max after being flung into the sky by the world's unstable physics and landing on The Fudge with the humans. |
Max and Chad are the secondary antagonists of Candy Carrier Chaos!, the second episode in the adult animated series, The Amazing Digital Circus.
They were bandits with Gummigoo, who tried to steal a massive truckload of syrup to save Gummigoo's mother and the whole village. The truck they were driving landed next to the main characters when they came in contact with The Fudge.
Max is voiced by Hamish Plaggemars and Chad is voiced by Jack Hawkins, who also voices their boss, Gummigoo.
Appearance[]
Max is the fat, purple-fading-into-red gummy gator, while Chad is the tall, orange-fading-into-yellow gator. Max is short, plump and wears a brown bowler hat and vest. Chad is tall, slim, and wears a fedora with a blue stripe and a blue bandana around his neck. The difference discussed in the episode is their arm length. Max's arms were too short to successfully capture and kidnap Pomni, and Chad's arms were too long to shift the gear of the truck to, "Rocky Road."
Personalities[]
Max and Chad's personalities are one and the same. They are silly, incompetent gators that have a heart for their species. When Gummigoo returns after being clipped out of the map, they express genuine worry for their partner in crime. They can be different though. Chad seems slightly less intelligent than Max, but he is also more sarcastic.
Biography[]
Max, Chad and Gummigoo were sitting by a campfire before Gummigoo spotted the Circus Crew. When they were on the run, Max tried to kidnap Pomni from on top of the truck, but his arms weren't long enough, and he ended up trailing behind the truck holding a rope. They then drove into a rocky area, when they realized Chad's arms weren't short enough to shift the gear, so Gummigoo did it for him. When the syrup truck was launched under a cliff and therefore shot into the air, the circus crew tied Max and Chad up. When Pomni and Gummigoo shot themselves back up, the two jumped at Gummigoo, worried sick. They then drove the extra syrup truck to the village and said goodbye to their colleague.
Trivia[]
- Gooseworx, the creator of the show, realized that the duo looked unlively in the background, so she got one of the animators, Kevin Temmer, to animate the duo showing off dance moves and playing patty cake.
- The scene where Max pulls off different poses to dodge the spikes is a reference to Pizza Tower, with the sound effect and white explosion shape that shows up behind him every time he poses being a reference to Peppino's taunts.
