~ Max MacTavish, while busting a student. |
Max Mactavish is a supporting antagonist in the 2006 video game Bully.
He is one of the four Prefects of Bullworth Academy and often viewed as the least corrupt between the four. Although he is not corrupt as his colleagues, he takes his job too overzealously, to the level that harassing students for petty reasons.
He was voiced by Lenny Grossi.
Biography[]
Max seems to be very enthusiastic about enforcing the law. He aspires to join either the police force or the army, and appears to think of himself as an applicator of justice, even smalltalk from the Jocks saying he carries a police baton in his pants. Unlike his colleagues, he seems to be more of an overzealous authoritarian than a bully, and he claims he doesn't understand the minds of troublemakers. While he is hostile to the students and expects them to be afraid of him, he may be the least corrupt of the prefects. Considering the jocks talking about him more than the other cliques, and him admitting to taking growth hormones like some of the jocks do, it is possible that he was a Jock before becoming a prefect.
Bully[]
Max, like the other prefects, has a recurring role throughout the game, particularly in freeroam, where he busts Jimmy and other students when they break rules. His sole mission appearance is in Chapter 5, where he and Seth tackle Jimmy and take his slingshot during the school-wide riot. Before he can do anything else, he and Seth are chased off by an angry Russell Northrop.
Trivia[]
- According to the data files of Bully, Max is the second in command of the Prefects. This is very mildly backed up by his role in Complete Mayhem, where he accompanies Seth as Seth confiscates Jimmy's slingshot.
