Max Valliant is an antagonist in Hitman: World of Assassination and the latest Elusive Target. Once one of the best agents the ICA ever had, Max ultimately began involving himself with various different parties covertly while simultaneously keeping each of them in the dark of whatever his true allegiance may be. They ordered his termination which was carried out successfully, or so it seemed, as in reality Max survived and over time began building up his own private militia to advance his goals.
He is voiced and modeled after actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, who also portrayed Jean Vilain in The Expendables 2.
History[]
Before the arrival of Agent 47, Valliant was one of the very best assassins working for the International Contract Agency. Despite this, over time he began infiltrating various other organizations as a double agent and the ICA feared him potentially leaking their secrets to the other parties. For Valliant, he became obsessed with gaining more and more power, which lead to his supposed downfall and termination at the hands of the Agency.
Surviving the assassination attempt, Valliant went dark and would ultimately come across a certain facility deep in Romania. It isn't known how exactly he got his hands on the work of Dr. Otto Wolfgang Ort-Meyer, but he became the first person in history to successfully replicate it and produce perfect super soldier clones. After his clones reached adulthood and were masterfully trained, he invaded the ICA facility in China and forcefully took it over, arranging a meeting with them in order to try and sell his new services to them.
47 was sent in undercover to the meeting and once there killed Valliant and his 13 clones.
