Maya Tau was one of the character from Roblox game Dead Ahead/CENTAURA she was the daughter of Aran Tau of Antares Imperium and Rear Admiral in the Antares Armada.
Biography[]
Maya Tau was born in 1906, the first child of the Crown Prince Aran Tau, her brother, Kaden Tau would be born in 1908, Kaden would be made the heir, which made Maya jealous, Kaden would have a troublesome childhood as Maya would bully him, and for the most part try to make her father change his mine to make her the heir instead.
Since childhood Maya took interest in the Navy, and joined the Armada in 1929 with the rank of ensign, at first Aran was skeptical the idea of his daughter in combat, but soon take advantage to strengthen his loyalty in the Navy, wanting the same with the Army, Aran coerced Kaden to join the Army as a Lieutenant II. Maya would rose though the rank and become more egotistical, believing she was superior to everyone lower than her, and even some soldiers of her own rank, as well as executing her own sailors when she is in a bad mood. Maya attained the rank of Kommander in 1936 after a great victory in the Annulus Sea. A few years after, she was promoted to Kaptain and put in command the Rubrum-class cruiser, AIS Maroon.

As of now (May 2025), not much is known about her future after her original death was retconned, but it’s confirmed that she will pass away in 1991.
Personality[]
She is very ambitious, wanting to be the heir to the throne and replacing her younger brother Kaden. When that didn't work, she became a naval officer and climbed to the ranks during the Riaan Campaign. She would however also developed a egotistical behavior as she rose through the ranks.
Appearance[]
Maya Tau has red eyes, short brown hair. She wears The Antares Officer Uniform comes with a Closed Collar White Overcoat with multiple pairs of buttons going from the upper chest to the lower waist, with 2 pockets on the left and right waist and the Antares Insignia and Ranking on the left and right sleeves and wrist. The overcoat is held by a belt and comes with a While and black Naval Service Cap with the Antares triangle in the center of the cap.

- Maya was formerly retconned because of her simps and that she was irrelevant to the lore, but as of now (May 6 2025), she has been brought back to the lore and her death was heavily altered. This would mean that she will likely have a further important role in the future.
- There was used to be a Poster of Maya Tau in the old lobby of Dead Ahead at the Antares side at some point in the game but was later removed,
- According to the old wiki before it was removed by the staff and creators her Age in Dead Ahead was 32 years old.
- In the Original lore of Maya Tau. She would actively bombed Riaan civilian ports, killed her sailors if she was in a bad mood and was a draconian disciplinary who enacted a policy similar to the Roman punishment decimation on crews of ships who failed in battle.
- Maya Tau's Death was gruesome in the original version of the lore as according to a user by the name of Just a random gameplayer "One Riaan fighter fired upon the starboard side of the A.I.S Maroon, aiming for the AA crews on that side, A stray 20mm high-explosive went directly into Tau’s abdominal region and blew her in two pieces. Maya Tau’s organs were splattered across the starboard side of the bridge wing. Her lower body was left relatively intact, and so was the upper body, though the entire region from the heart down to the pelvis was gone." However, now that her lore is remastered, Her death has been Heavily Altered as she passed away from old age in 1991
