The Mayor of Dodgeball City is the main antagonist of Moe and the Big Exit.
He was portrayed by Mr. Nezzer.
History[]
The Mayor is first seen glaring at the descendants of Little Joe along with his aide Wyatt. He soon enslaves them and begins to work them hard. Soon he begins to believe that there are way too many workers and wonders what will happen if they decide they don't want to be slaves anymore. Soon he tells his aide to take all the baby boys and send them up the river.
Sometime later, he sends a telegram to another man when his daughter says she found a baby. Years later, he is annoyed by his daughter loving her adopted son. After Moe knocks Bill into a river, The Mayor puts up many wanted posters and swears he will send him up the river. Years later, Moe returns, albeit in disguise, along with his blood brother Aaron to meet the mayor. When they arrive, Moe loses his nerves and the mayor demand why they arrived, but not before recognizing Aaron. Soon he insults a disguised Moe. After being told to let the slaves go, one of his grandsons brings Charlie in and after the two argue, he stops it and is about to send him up the river but Moe tries to help. After the failed attempt, he makes the slaves work even harder and tells the pair to leave.
Sometime later, he is adoring his great-grandson when Arron and Moe return and say God is serious. Soon he fakes fear after Moe has his stick turned into a rattlesnake. He soon he mildly berates Wyatt for making a snake firework. He also still refuses to free the slaves. During several days, the mayor is bombarded by the plagues. However, after the river rises and takes the first born babies with it, including the mayor's great-grandson. Soon a mourning mayor tells Moe and Aaron along with the slaves to leave.
Later on he sees the former slaves leaving and ungratefully scorns them and decides to find a new way to make future landmarks and wonders who the masked man was. After Wyatt tells him it was Moe, he forms a posse with plans of revenge. Soon he and his posse chase them. After the descendants of little Joe crosse a path of snow to safety, the posse follows. However the snow stops falling and unsurprisingly, melts to to the heat, trapping the posse in Death Valley.
Trivia[]
- Since Moe and the Big Exit is basically a Western adaptation of Moses in the Book of Exodus, the Mayor of Dodgeball City is somewhat based on the Pharoah, or specifically, Ramses III.
- Since Moe and the Big Exit is a sequel to the Ballad of Little Joe, it is unknown if he was the same mayor featured in the previous film, though it can be implied that he isn't.
