Meathook is a major antagonist in the video game Ride to Hell: Retribution.
He is voiced by Rodger Thomson.
History[]
Shortly after the Vietnam war veteran Jake Conway returns home, he and his brother Mikey are accosted by The Devil's Hand, a rival group of bikers who chase them to a gas station where Meathook holds Mikey hostage with his machete and after he confesses the jacket he's wearing belonged to his father, who was the leader of Retribution biker gang. Under the orders of Colt, Meathook kills Mikey and Jake is shot and left for dead.
After he miraculously survives, Jake eventually enters a tournament hosted by The Devil's Hand and after beating every challenger in his way, he finally gets to fight Meathook. When Meathook hears that some of his own men placed bets that he would lose the fight, he kills one of them and then steps into the ring. After a grueling fight, Jake beats Meathook into a corner and just as he's about to reveal who the leader of their gang is, he's stabbed from behind by Greasy Steve with his own machete and then quickly leaves.
Appearance[]
Meathook is slightly shorter than Jake and has brown hair, a sleeveless jacket with no shirt underneath, a bullet wrapped around a chain as a necklace, bandaged hands, ripped dark blue jeans with a skull shaped belt buckle, and black shoes.
Personality[]
Meathook is shown to be an Irish man who's manically obsessed with both fighting and killing, even murdering his own men to fuel his own sadism and egomania. He claims that he fights with honor, despite the fact he murdered a defenseless teenager from behind, and mocks Jake before his fight that he "didn't help" his brother even though he couldn't due to him being shot immediately afterwards.
