History[]
The mech suit was initially created by The Ancients thousands of years prior to the events of the series. For reasons unknown, it was abandoned in a cave, where it sat until present day.
One day, Sticks the Badger stumbled across the cave when she the rest of Team Sonic were in the jungle. Sonic took a liking towards the mech's resemblance to him and put it on, despite Tails' warnings. They attempted to leave, but Dr. Eggman placed a forcefield at the entrance to the cave in hopes of suffocating the heroes. Unfortunately for him, the mech suit made Sonic much more powerful, allowing him to break the forcefield with ease. Eggman tried to kill the team using Mega Bot, but Sonic made quick work of it. He then tried to kill Eggman, though the other members of Team Sonic talked him out of it.
In the days that followed, Sonic still wore the suit, which caused him to act extremely hostile and uncaring to those around him. After returning from the cave and finding the schematics, Tails told Sonic that the mech suit was slowly taking over him, but Sonic was too far gone to care. He abandoned his former team and sought the help of Dr. Eggman. The two caused minor mischief around the village, but they were most focused on taking it over. They even threatened to destroy the city if the mayor didn't hand it over.
Angered by Sonic's upstaging of him, Dr. Eggman plotted to steal the mech suit for himself. However, Sonic overheard his entire plan, and he tried to kill him. Returning to the village, Sonic attempted to force the mayor into submission, but the remaining members of Team Sonic fought against him. The fight started out one sided, but Tails realized that the mech's forcefield shut down when it was charging its weapon. After seizing and opening, he ripped the symbiote chip out of the suit. Amy then destroyed the chip, ending the mech's reign of terror for good.
Personality[]
Being a corrupted version of Sonic, Mech Suit Sonic emphasizes all of Sonic's negative qualities, most notably his temper and egotism. Furthermore, all of Sonic's more redeeming qualities are completely lost, making Mech Suit Sonic a completely heartless monster. He does not care about anything except for himself and will kill anyone who stands in the way of his goals.
Sonic is also obsessed with his mech suit, never taking it off and refusing to cooperate with those he perceives are trying to take it from him, even his former friends.
Trivia[]
- Mech Suit Sonic is very similar to the King of the Bee Bots from the same series, as both are members of Team Sonic who were turned evil by a piece of technology.
