Medicon is a medical-themed Mutant who served Nadira and was the main antagonist of the Power Rangers Time Force episode "Short-Circuited."
He was voiced by Dan Woren who also voiced the Hydro Contaminators and the Drill Master in Power Rangers Zeo and was later the voice of both Onikage and providing the original voice of Zen-Aku in Power Rangers Wild Force.
Biography[]
Past[]
One thousand years in the future, children are born in labs with traits designated by their parents to include features like super strength. During one of the required genetic enhancement sessions, one of the vials containing embryonic biomass unexpectedly fell and shattered, spilling the contents into a drain where the staff believed that the biomass would die out due to exposure to the outside world. However, instead of dissolving, the sewer environment around said spilled biomass unexpectedly caused it to mutate into Mutants including Medicon. At some point, Medicon was captured by Time Force and imprisoned in the Time Ship.
Time Force[]
When Ransik steals the Time Ship and takes it back to the year 2001, Medicon's cryogenically frozen body is among the prisoners taken with him.
After Ransik's defeat and Frax's death, Medicon and the rest of the Mutants are taken back to the future to be imprisoned.
Personality[]
Medicon is a archetypal mad scientist who enjoys torturing people (and machines, in Circuit's case). He is very sadistic and enjoys the suffering of his "patients". He is cold, manipulative and emotionless but he was also very loyal to Nadira.
