Megan Parker is the main antagonist Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh franchise.
She is the sister of Drake Parker, and the stepsister of Josh Nichols, who is intent on tormenting her brothers forever by pranking them without mercy.
She was portrayed by Miranda Cosgrove.
Biography[]
Megan Jessica Parker was born on May 14, 1994 as the younger sister of Drake Parker, who was born in 1988 to Mr. Parker and Audrey Parker. Right at the beginning of the series itself, she and her brother which is of course Drake, are informed that their mother is dating with a TV weatherman named Walter Nichols and that he is to be their own stepfather, and his son Josh, is about to be their stepbrother.
For most of the series, Megan is often the source of misery for her brothers, either because she wants to or because they provoke her. Occasionally, she does help out when they are in need.
In the episode Alien Invasion, Drake and Josh actually pranked Megan back by tricking her that aliens were real until the end of the episode.
In one episode, Megan had a boyfriend. Due to her brothers being overly protective of her and sharing a dislike for her date, they try to break it off. At first, Megan is angry at them, but when she discovers that he is in fact, dating another girl as well, she breaks off the relationship, and forgives the brothers, but continues to bully them after.
In the final episode of the show, Megan and Audrey were in shock to see Drake and Josh dancing on TV which led her defeat at the end of the episode.
Personality[]
Megan is primarily mischievous and sarcastic most times, but she also helps other people when they are in need, like helping Drake and Josh get out of the jail in "The Gary Grill". Still, she loves to prank and "torture" the lives of her brothers and think of it as a job. Megan also seems to not care if her brothers are happy or not when she pranks them. Yet, despite that she is mischievous most times, she really is big evil and described by Josh as "a little demon". In Merry Christmas, Drake and Josh, she also yells at Drake and Josh after she found they lied to her about Trevor's Grandfather played in an oboe contest.
Megan is also really good with machines and electronics, as she has a secret spying panel in her bedroom and a briefcase full of spy devices. It is never explained where or how she obtains her gadgets.
Trivia[]
- Some people view the 2007 closure of Drake & Josh as nothing to be sad about: Megan committed horrible torture, and never ended up facing her comeuppance
- This was Miranda Cosgrove's only villain role.
