Megatron is the main antagonist of the 2025 Transformers web-series, Transformers: Cyberworld. He is the leader of the Decepticons, who ended up on Cyberworld along with some other Decepticons, Autobots, and neutral cybertronians. He is the arch-nemesis of Optimus Prime.

He is voiced by James Alexander.

Biography[]

Not much is known about Megatron prior to his arrival to Cyberworld, other than he was the leader of the Decepticons, and is also implied to be one of the reasons everyone is currently on the planet, Cyberworld.

At some point after arriving on Cyberworld, prior to the events of the series, Megatron established the Decepticons in Cyberworld with those loyal to him under his command. Eventually, Megatron encountered Bumblebee, who had just arrived on Cyberworld. Rather than trying to kill him, Megatron formed an alliance with Bumblebee, stating they were survivors now rather than Autobots and Decepticons. Megatron then began to explain to Bumblebee about the hostile nature of Cyberworld, before he is mocked by Bumblebee for being too gloomy, which Megatron smiled at, taking note that Bumblebee has a courageous spark, before telling Bumblebee that they need to be ruthless in order to survive. Megatron then activates a game program that produces energon for the winner. The objective of the game was to hit 50 targets, which Megatron did by ramming into all of them, however, he failed to realize that the objective was to hit the targets with a blaster which program summoned, causing him to lose to Bumblebee, who listened to the instructions and successfully hit one target with the blaster. After Bumblebee's victory, Bumblebee got the energon power-up instead of Megatron, causing Megatron to betray Bumblebee by shooting him in the chest and leaving him for dead, stating that only the strong survive.

Later, Megatron is informed by Sky-Byte about Optimus Prime's arrival on Cyberworld, which Megatron found upsetting. In response to Optimus' arrival, Megatron sent Sky-Byte and Mirage on a mission to kill Optimus and his Autobots, which fails.

Trivia[]
