Megatron is a main antagonist of 2025 Japanese web anime series Transformers: Wild King. He was Optimus Prime's former best friend-turned-archenemy who eventually became a co-leader of the Dinosaur Tribe of Planet Elementros, alongside Captain Volca.
He is voiced by Hinata Tadokoro.
Biography[]
Prior to their arrival on Planet Elementros, Megatron explains to his friend Optimus about the Elemental Energy, the source of power that the planet give to life and someone who uses it will become stronger. However, upon his arrival on Planet Elementros, he eventually meet the group of Dinosaur Tribe and became one of their leaders.
He and Captain Volca later Wildocking together and fired the Jurassic Ball Fire at both Optimus Prime and Lightlong to test out his newfound power, but only for the former to block it down with his axe. He and Volca attempt to fire Volca Burning at Optimus before kicking him down to the ground. After admitting to Optimus that he'll gather all of the Elemental Energy to become the strongest being on the planet and rule it over, Megatron easily knocked him down since he's Wildocking with Volca. However, he later become shocked that Optimus and Lightlong were about to merged together while Volca orders Leafback to stop them from doing so, but to no avail.
After they were attacked by Optimus and Lightlong's Lightlong Slash, Megatron forgived Volca for getting caught off guard by telling him that he's superior in terms of pure power and change their fighting styles. They attempt to fire Jurrasic Vol Flare, but only for Optimus to deflect it with Lightlong's Lightning Energy and sending him flying back by punching him in the face. He then told Optimus about the boundless possibilities Element Energy that he'll use to form the Element Shield. After wildocking with Leafback by replacing his left arm, they fired Jurassic Leaf Flare at both Optimus and Lightlong.
