Melviathan is a minor antagonist in the Netflix series adaptation of the Captain Underpants franchise, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, serving as the main antagonist of "The Monstrous Mayhem of the Massive Melviathan".
Melviathan is a monster that Melvin tricks Harold into dreaming up his worst nightmare.

Biography[]
After a portal sends George, Harold, Melvin and the other kids into a dimesion where dreams are reality where George and Harold's wildest fantasies were real. Melvin however want to get out of here, so he trick Harold into dreaming up his worst nightmare: Melviathan, a monstrous, tentacled beast. Panic surged through the group as Melviathan lumbered towards them. George and Harold, ever resourceful, scrambled into a hidden treehouse, a refuge they dreamt into existence. Inside, they dream up a hero of their own: Captain Urtlapants, the ultra-powered version of Captain Underpants.
Captain Urtlapants, George and Harold headed back to dream camp where Captain Urtlapants charged into battle, but Melviathan, was proved to be too powerful. With a single, earth-shattering roar, he sent Captain Urtlapants crashing to the ground, despite his powers. Desperate, George and Harold reversed the process, sending Captain Urtlapants back to his normal Captain Underpants form. But just as Melviathan lunged, Captain Underpants burst into an unexpected, yet surprisingly effective, musical number. The song, a catchy, high-energy melody, seemed to pierce through out Melviathan getting killed by Captain Underpants and save the day.
