Meowrice's Henchmen are the secondary antagonists of the Warners Bros. 1962 animated Chuck Jones film Gay-Puree. They are the henchmen of Meowrice who they serve as minions.

Biography

Meowrice's Henchmen first appeared at the beginning of the song "The Money Cat", where they (along with their boss Meowrice) are singing directly to the audience explaining the wonders of money over any other resource.

They later appear when they kidnapped Mewsette (who tries to escape after seeing Meowrice's true intentions). During the battle, they are thrown out the boxcar door by Jaune-Tom where their tails catch hold of a railway crossing signal.

Trivia

  • Although while they are mostly mute during the film, they were voiced by the late Thurl Ravenscroft, the late Bill Lee, Bill Cole, and Gene Merlino in "The Money Cat" song.
  • Despite them being only 4 cats that serve Meowrice, there was briefly a 5th cat during the song "The Money Cat".
