Mercury Charsiuman is a minor antagonistic of the anime/manga series Tatakae!! Ramenman, the Kinnikuman spin-off series.

Biography

Tatakae!! Ramenman

Mercury Charsiuman was originally a martial artist who trained in Chojin Kenpo alongside Ramenman. Mercury Charsiuman was always more skilled than Ramenman and would harass him during their training. When it came time to choose a successor, Mercury Charsiuman's violent and egotistical nature would lead to Ramenman being picked as the chosen successor over Mercury Charsiuman, causing him to run away.

After he ran away, Mercury Charsiuman would be known as the person who was unable to obtain the Dragon Scroll and would be turned away from every dojo in the country, leading him to start fighting against the strongest martial artists just to kill them. On his journeys, Mercury Charisuman would meet Yin-Jiao & Jin-Jiao and take them on his students and enforcers.

He would eventually take over a village and enslave everyone there, forcing them into prison cells or making them work for him against their wills. Mercury Charsiuman would eventually turn everyone in the village into stone statues. Once Mercury Charsiuman heard that Victory Ramenman was in the area, he would task Yin-Jiao & Jin-Jiao to steal the Dragon Scroll from him, however, they only managed to steal half of it.

Mercury Charsiuman would meet Victory Ramenman again, challenging him to a duel so he could take the Dragon Scroll from him. In their duel, Mercury Charsiuman would use the Stone Sentinel Maze to try and beat Victory Ramenman but he would refuse to fight back because it was against his teachings to fight a fellow student. Instead, Mercury Charsiuman would kidnap Shumai and torture him to make Victory Ramenman come to save him.

Victory Ramenman would eventually come to fight against Mercury Charsiuman but not before showing him the Dragon Scroll, revealing his half to be blank and needing to be filled in by the chosen successor. The two would fight with Victory Ramenman beating Mercury Charsiuman.

After his defeat, Mercury Charsiuman would make limited appearances before disappearing from the series entirely.

Powers and Abilities

• Freezing Petrification: Mercury Charsiuman is able to cast a martial arts technique to instantly turn whoever he's facing into a stone statue. After a few days, they will fully be turned into a statue, never being able to be turned back into a human.
• Stone Sentinel Maze: Mercury Charsiuman, when his opponent in standing in an area with special statues is able to cast illusionary spells, these illusions have physical effects as if they were actually happening. These illusions can be fires, rainstorms or tornados.
